Papyrus made spaghetti on a daily basis, I didn't mind, until I started finding human parts again. Then I stopped eating, waiting for him to turn his back before I through the food out the window. Sans noticed once, and slide something into my lap under the table, must've understanding I didn't eat humans like them. I looked down at my lab to find a cinnabun in the shape of a bunny. I smiled to myself and quickly hid it when papyrus turned to me.
"WOW HUMAN! YOU'VE EATEN ALL OF YOUR FOOD ALREADY! WOULD YOU LIKE SOME MORE?" he asked, already grabbing the pot. I shook my head, stuffing my forbidden good in my back pocket, though I knew it would be a bit squished.
"No thank you paps, I'm full." I told him, he just nodded, smiling as he turned his back to me and put the pot down. I scampered out of the kitchen and into the living room, sitting on the other side of the tv stand, since no one would see anything but the top of my head when they came out. I grabbed my now crushed treat, and opened the wrapped, quickly scarfing it down, and licking my fingers, remembering I haven't eaten in quite a while since pap's started the human spaghetti again a week ago.
"Heh, it really took a toll on your hunger there, not eating huh?" I jumped and tensed up at his voice before I slowly looked over at him. I still haven't gotten used to him appearing at random moments.
"And.... when did you get here?" I asked slowly, stuffing the cinnabun wrapper in my back pocket to hide the evidence from paps.
"Just long enough to see you devour the bunny." He chuckled at his own joke as I just blatantly stared at him, not amused. "What? Was it not too humorous?" I snorted, rolling my eyes.
"Thank you for the cinnabun..." I mumbled, pushing myself up against the wall a bit. I didn't usually thank him for a lot of things, other then when he let me borrow his jacket... which he made me give back after we got here...
"Don't mention it honey. we have to keep our food plump after all." I tensed and my face darkened when I heard him call me food. Then I remembered he also called me honey.
"Did you... just call me honey?" I asked slowly, and he smirked.
"Yea, because of how your blood tastes."
"Pretty sure my nickname should be metallic then. Honey is a nickname for couples." I told him, I didn't mind starting an argument with him, hoping he wouldn't kill me for a simple thing.
"Well, you're blood tastes like honey to me, and that's what i'll call you." We got into a small argument before I felt a sharp pain in my arm. I yelped but Sans covered my mouth, muffling it.
"HUMAN, ARE YOU OK?" Paps asked from the kitchen.
"She's just fine paps, she just stabbed her toe on the coffee table!" Sans made up and excuse. Like hell paps would believe that when he saw my arm bleeding! I mentally yelled at him.
"OK SANS, PLEASE MAKE SURE SHE'S MORE CAREFUL." Paps said, returning to whatever it was he was doing.
"can do bro!" he yelled back, though we both knew he was no longer listening. I shivered as he licked the cut. how the hell does he have a tongue?! he's a skeleton! I tried to move away from him, but he moved one arm around my waist to keep me in place, as the blood from the cut started to come out again and drip down my arm. I shivered as he licked it again. I kept trying to get free from him, and move away, but his grip tightened. "Do you really think you can get away that easily, honey?~" He whispered in my ear, making me tense. I kept trying to get away from him, and eventually rammed my elbow back hard enough that I heard a crack. Sans tensed up, and I quickly followed suit, knowing I just messed up badly. I looked over at him, to see his eyes were both completely black. "did you just...." He started speaking, but trailed off.
"I don't even know what I did myself..." I spoke slowly, trying to let him know I didn't mean to hurt him if I did.
"I'm going to give you. five minutes to run, before I come to get you." He said making sure he put emphasize on each word.
"I seriously didn't mean to, i'm sorry!" I said, he moved his hands, holding them up in the air, his movements slow. "Did I... break one of your ribs?" I saw he was trying not to move too much on his right side, which is where I rammed my elbow.
"Cracking noise doesn't mean anything else.... i'm surprised i'm not dead..." He said, I remembered his warning about running, but ignored it as I got up and got a medkit, i'm guessing was to hold bones together with bandages more then anything else. It's very dusty, and there was barely anything inside. "What're you doing? That's not going to help anything." He said, staring at me now that his red eye was back.
"well maybe it didn't break... I mean, there would've been a sound of the broken rib piece falling and hitting other bones..." I mumbled my explanation. "so please... let me fix what I broke..." I said, slightly hanging my head. Sans seemed to notice my guilt and grumbled something as he took his jacket and shirt off, looking away from me as his face slightly turned red. I blushed a bit, as I looked at rips, finding the one that had a crack in it, it wasn't too big, I don't have enough strength for it to have broken or cracked too much. I wrapped a bandage around the broken rib, and then put the roll back into the medkit. I put it back, and when I came back, sans already had his shirt and jacket back on.
"Thanks... I guess..." He mumbled, before disappearing. I felt a slight pang in my heart, but ignored it, thinking it was guilt. I sat on the couch, sighing. I felt bad for hurting Sans and I wondered what would've happened if I really had ran, or if he didn't let me help him. would he have actually killed me again? Somewhere inside, I doubted it.
