Blood Like Honey (Horrortale sans x reader)

Hotland

We walked through some areas, Sans would tell me how it was when frisk came. That Undyne, who is the new queen, would meet Frisk in this area and would chase them into hotland, past his booth.

"I'm going to go ahead and make sure everything's fine and see if the water up ahead is all good, since hotland is well... hot..." He awkwardly explained like he was nervous. "Are you going to be ok on your own?" He asked.

"Yea... I don't think its that far if you're having me walk there by myself... so even if I need your help, I can just call you." I smiled. He seemed surprised and looked away, what I think was a slight blush on his cheekbones. I was curious as to what he was thinking.

"Alright. i'm trusting you honey. Yell if you need me." Sans said before disappearing. I'm guessing he can teleport. I started walking down the hall, seeing that everything was broken now, the beauty was lost. I shivered from the eeriness of the area as I walked, instantly missing Sans' presence. Only now did I realize how much comfort her provided to me here. I held onto his jacket, tightening it around me as I walked. 

As I entered hotland, I got a sudden burst of heat. Sans jacket made It worse but I didn't want to take it off, seeing as it was my only comfort for the moment. a small volcano like creature approached, growling and snarling at me. I could tell it was hungry and very injured by the chip in it that released lava that flowed down its side. I tried to ACT but it didn't respond positively to anything. I had taken Sans' jacket off and tied it around my waist due to the heat and the fact I was blocking the monsters attacks with my arms, which ended up badly burned. It started aiming at my legs, probably to get me down to its level, so I put the jacket back on. They ended up getting burned too. I pressed FLEE and ran around the tiny volcano down the hall. It chased after me, clearly angry, but I quickly lost it.

I got to a booth, where Sans was waiting, he had fallen asleep. His head laying on the wooden counter, his hand holding onto his right eye socket, his fingers inside it. I wondered if it hurt him. I walked over to the booth and slightly nudged him.

"Sans..." I weakly said, but he shifted and sat up, still holding onto his skull.

"Honey...?" He mumbled and I giggled since I could tell he was tired.

"Yea, its me... sorry it took so long... I met a little volcano dude I had to run from..." I explained and he just slowly nodded. "Is the water ok up ahead?" I asked, seriously needing a drink before I passed out from the heat.

"Yea... all good.... and surprisingly cool..." he mumbled, laying his head back down on the counter. I giggled to myself.

"I'll be right back then... i'm gonna get a drink." I said as I started walking across the short bridge, forgetting flowey's warning. Halfway across the rope snapped and since the bridge was low hanging, I fell into the lava. I let out an ear piercing shriek as I hit it, that made Sans jump out of the booth.

"Honey!" He yelled, but I was already consumed by the smoldering lava.

I looked around to see I was in front of sans' booth again. I was shaking and tears were in my eyes. I was scared. the heat around me seemed nothing compared to the lava's smoldering heat that consumes you entirely, burning everything away and filling you from the inside out. 

"S-sans" I cried out, my shaking bad and tears rolling down my face. He didn't hesitate as he woke up, jumping over the wooden counter and hugging me close to him.
