Parker's P.O.V.

I woke up in my bedroom to see Ramon going through my closet picking out clothes for me.

"It's Monday now." He said throwing a deep red long sleeved shirt on my bed with black ripped jeans beside me.

"I really slept that long?" I asked perplexed.

"Yes, Ethan was taken to the police office, his grandma bailed him out after paying a small fine for the attempt of hurting you. He was let go but your mom got a call last night from his grandma Ria saying Ethan had run away from home overnight. No one knows where he is." Ramon said fixing his matted hair with my comb. His eyes had darkened underneath and his voice indicated he was tired from the dark tone.

"I just hope he's gone forever." I responded sitting up out of bed taking my clothes he laid out.

"Get ready, we have to leave in five minutes. I made you breakfast, Veronica is here, yesterday being Sunday was a hard day for her. She had family therapy with Jessie and her parents. From the slight conversation over the phone, I could tell it didn't go well at all. She slept over here on the couch last night with the heater on of course and cried most of the night. I could hear her as I slept on the floor in here. You were passed out for a little over twenty four hours. She thought you might be in a coma from not eating enough recently, or from trauma. Honestly I was scared too. She's been acting really distant though, whenever I look at her she's just staring out the window. Her food portions have gone down a lot in just one day maybe because she's away from the hospital. Sorry this is all so random and all over the place there's just a lot going on this weekend, soon we'll have the entire school asking us questions, pointing and laughing at us." Ramon said rubbing his eyes in agony trying to wipe away the stress.

"I'll tell Jessie my concerns about her soon, just to put us all at ease. Whatever happens at school, remember that they are just dumb high school kids who get high and think they're dare devils. You got shot in the damn leg to save my stupid ass. We're bad as hell okay? If they don't see it, forget about them." I said pulling the shirt over my head.

"Always. I will stick by you as much as possible the entire day and meet you after every class period this week just so we can stick together and keep haters away. If people say anything about your ED, tell them nothing. Blow them off or keep earbuds in the entire day." Ramon said smiling.

"I don't have ear buds or any music on my phone." I said laughing. "Music costs a lot of money to have on your phone per month and I don't want to put the pressure on my mom-"

"Nonsense, take my MP3 and spare earbuds. I have many songs downloaded and you can buy any songs you want or make a playlist. I have my phone and earbuds to listen with so I don't mind you having this. Use it to keep you sane through this whole situation." He insisted pulling a silver rectangle with a small screen and tangled earbuds out of his pocket placing them in my hand.

"Thank you." I said plugging in the ear buds and played the first song.

I laughed making Ramon look up.

"What?" He asked.

"You like k-pop music?" I asked giggling.

"Hey don't judge some of those groups have awesome songs man." He smiled.

I turned off the MP3 and put the rest of my clothes on along with shoes and walked with Ramon into the kitchen where Veronica sat with a cup of coffee in her hand.

"I didn't know you liked coffee." I said standing near her.

She ignored what I said and jumped up from her seat giving me a hug.
