Beep beep

I opened my eyes and looked at my alarm. I sat up realising that my room was light and normally it's dark I looked over and my window was opened and the sun was beaming into my room I put my hand up to form a shade on my eyes because the sun was so bright.

I then sat up my feet hitting the cold floor boards as I stood up. I walked over to the window looking for any traces of break ins. I then closed it and walked over into my walk in robe and grabbed my light pink robe.

I walked out of my room and went to see if chase was asleep and he wasn't.

I then heard noises downstairs and instantly new it was my parents so I made my way downstairs but stopped when I heard a familiar voice that wasn't my parents voice. I peeked my head around from the wall so I could see them but they couldn't see me.

It was cody's parents so I listened In on them talking.

"We did not expect Cody to hurt Emelie. He loved her something must've happened between them." Codys mum sighed.

I then continued walking down the stairs till my dad and codys family spotted me and they smiled I quickly walked into the kitchen. Till I was right over with my mum.

"Ugh. Um why are they here?" I grabbed one of her pieces of bacon on the plate. She looked up "they came over to apologise to you" she said taking a sip of her coffee I just rolled my eyes before going to the fridge grabbing out the milk carton and drinking out of it.

I then felt a piece of bacon hit my back. I turned around and it was my mum "don't do that it's gross. You can go to the shops now and get a new milk carton" my mum growled before getting up and washing her dishes.

I just laughed before grabbing a salad role and tried to head back upstairs but my dad called out my name.

"Yeah?"  "Hun cody's parents are here to apologise of what he did to you" I sighed before going to sit on the couch "Emelie. We are so sorry for how Cody attacked you. He's never done this before so we didn't expect it. But where just glad your safe" cody's mum smiled.

"It's fine. But do you know where he is?" Cody's mum looked down before looking up with tears in her eyes.

"No. He's been missing police are searching for him".

I slammed my fists in the coffee table before standing up "great!. Now he could easily come back and kill me!" I said with anger i then ran upstairs with tears in my eyes and my dad shouting my name but I didn't listen.

I got into my room and slammed the door causing a photo to fall off my draws. I then went over to the photo and picked it up and to my surprise It was a photo of me and Cody.

I quickly went into my walk in robe and got dressed into shorts and a jumper. I then grabbed the photo and walked downstairs and my dad spotted me "Emelie come apologise now!" He firmly spoke.

"Why do I have to apologise. I didn't do anything" I narrowed my eyes I then got the photo and threw it at Cody's mum causing her to grab it. I ran out the front door slamming it and running into the woods.

I found a nice tree and sat under it hugging my knees and tears falling down my cheeks.

~flashback~

I got on the bus with the loud kids that were jumping around like monkeys in a cage, I started to walk to he back of the bus but got stopped by a boy. Who was wearing black ripped jeans white converse and a black hoodie. "Do you live in that house?" The young boy asked making eye contact with my house.
