''emelie emelie'' i got snapped out of my thoughts i looked over at zoe who had annoyance in her eyes.

''Mm'' i sighed ''you were day dreaming and i was trying to speak to you about our double dates in four weeks'' i rolled my eyes zoe had been trying to get me a boyfriend ever since cody and john left but i told her i didnt want to deal with boys at the moment.

but her being Zoe just thought I was going through a traumatic experience and said I would need this fun night.

I kept saying no but she was bugging me so I just said yes and she finally stopped bugging me.

''lets go in this shop it has a half price sail and they have good clothes'' Zoe skipped into the shop like a little kid would when there parents would let them get ice cream.

I followed behind her. the only reason I agreed on coming shopping with her was because I didn't want to go see my twin cousins and shopping was always fun with Zoe but today it felt wrong like I wasn't supposed to be here.

''omg Emelie I would look so good in this and it shows some cleavage but my parents would not approve'' she said forming a frown on her face as she put down the lacy blue top.

we were finally done in the shop I brought jeans that were real tight but Zoe said I would get heaps of boys attention and apparently that's good.

we were heading to the food court when a angry girl came up to me she has dark black hair that had bangs nearly covering her eyes, but she was cross she pushed me up against the wall her arm up against my throat ''you made my brother go crazy'' she spat viciously.

I gulped I then saw the resembulance this was Cody's older sister Jane she lived with her dad since how Cody's dad didn't want her there.

''no I didnt'' I looked at Zoe who had run off to get someone.

''yes. yes you did after Cody attacked you I tried contacting him and he said he hated me'' she started to cry ''that's not my problem'' as I said those words her arm pushed more on my neck making it a struggle for me to breathe.

all of a sudden security came and ripped Jane off me and I fell to the ground coughing Zoe helped me up and I smiled Jane was fighting the security and they had to call the police.

Zoe and I walked away and back to mine were we informed my parents on what happened and my mum contacted Jane's mum which is also Cody's mum and she informed my mum that she hadn't seen Jane since since she was 16 and that was 7 years ago.

zoe and I went upstairs to my room ''who was that crazy chick'' Zoe asked turning her phone on and replying to the messages she had received.

''Cody's half sister'' Zoe's face was shocked at school Cody had only ever spoke about his younger siblings he had never ever mentioned one word about Jane, it was like he was embarrassed of her, ''why is she crazy and how are they related I'm confused'' Zoe sat up getting comfortable as I began to tell her a story.

''Cody's mother had a husband 7 years before she met her husband and had Cody. and she had already had a daughter named Jane but something was always odd about her she never made friends she would always cause her parents to fight and when she was 6 her parents split up and her mother constantly fought for custody over Jane and she won, she then met this guy and they fell in love and got married but Jane's mums husband didn't like her and when Jane's mum became pregnant Jane got sent to live with her father''

''keep going this is interesting'' Zoe cheered happily. ''when Cody was born his mother insisted that he could see Jane since how they were siblings, and he did see his sister for about 9 years but then Jane and her father moved away and visits from Jane's mum went from every second weekend to every second month to finally every fifth month to finally once a year, this happened for over 2 years till Jane's father told Jane's mother to stop and continue on with her other kids''
