Hae-ju

She raised the volume of her voice, as she ranted on like a child causing my anger to unfold in a pace of impatience watching her march out of the room. Her attire swayed with each foxlike movement entirely aware of her wrong yet still carrying about as if a queen on a high horse. How dare she a worker treat me as if the roles were reversed. I truly felt even more cheated considering how easily she does switch the roles yet I've never been able to actually completely call her out on it.

" She never really actually spoke proper to me ever since she got here did she?"  I asked myself while I stared at the entrance.  My thoughts so deep in wonder that I was oblivious to the fact that Mister Jang walked into the room. It was the childishness he displayed as he played with his golden orange tie that led my attention towards him.

Out of the boredom I felt which by observation  I realized he only wore the specific tie on special occasions, unconcerned with why I was agitated ; he placed coffee on my desk and was about to leave.

" Dinner with wife?" I asked. He smiled and patted down his suit to show off.

"She and I no longer get time to relax as we use too, we assumed once the children have grown up it's be easier but it just got more difficult, paying for them to stay in college is the true struggle." He finished.

He later went into a rant about how he first met his wife and how much she played hard to get for many a years, after that he ranted a bit longer about her character all the things I expected him to do, and say though he acted as if he wasn't going to.

Later on Dalnim walked into the room with a stack of documents, which she placed on the table so I used the conversation in my favor to take a stab towards her.

" Well, some of our workers don't seem to understand the values of playing hard to get, as those of your generation, I must admit, some are much too easy now and days they only know a man for a few weeks before they call them lovers." I ended.

Dalnim placed the documents down then turned towards me, helplessly I looked away after speaking. As I patiently waited for her scolding, but rather than do as such she just walked out and said nothing at all.

" Was that towards miss Kim?" Mister Jang asked me. I looked away and shrugged as I returned to my desk to look through the documents set upon it. I flipped through as Mister Jang took a hold of some others and began looking them over.

" She finishes these pretty quickly, she's clever...they are also done accurately your father has good taste in employees, I believe I am a great example of that though." Mister Jang sang as he slid his hand through his store bought black hair.

I sighed regrettably at the words I said towards Dalnim even more so because of her lack of response. It was a very childlike plan of obscurity which led me to say what I said, but the fact of the matter was that because she was unresponsive it simply made me uncomfortable as well as hesitant to speak to her.

As the day went on Dalnim didn't speak on the matter I said earlier that day, the hidden comment that was meant out of ploy and aimed at calling her easy. I walked past her room a few times, she neither looked up or gave me attention, yet once another worker strolled by, she raised her head as response to their greeting, then it went right back down before she would even make effort to look my way.

" Dalnim..." I mumbled under my breathe, as I looked towards the off beige colour on the wall.

" Ah yes, how may I help you?" I heard her response rather cheerfully. Finally looking towards her with a smile on my face comforted by the welcoming tone of her voice, I was let down to discover, it was the phone she picked up.
