Dalnim
" Are you not a fan of the rain either, you're gripping on pretty tight, want to rest?" He asked me as he pulled me quickly towards his car.
" no not really, but I will not be driving to work with you, I have my own car." I reminded him as I raced away.
" Dalnim!" He called out after me.
" I'll be fine." The struggle of driving in the rain was better off for me than to have people grow suspicious.
I quickly placed on my seat belt excited to have experienced a calm morning though my heart raced at the sight of my brother, not out of discouragement of seeing him rather in harmless fear for Hae-ju.
I turned on the radio as I stared ahead slowly driving, as the index finger on my right hand tapped to a charming melody, that painted perfectly with the scene. The raining weathers gave me reason to want to cuddle into my bed and sleep.
I felt comfort at the thought of more sleep, while I began to raise the volume: "We break this channel to report a crash, be careful those driving toward's insadong, Seoul." After the details were given the song returned but it refused to sound the same.
My index finger forgot the rhythm as it slowly began to shake along with the rest of my arm.
" breathe. Breathe." I spoke to myself, a few more songs passed, as I thankfully began entering the entrance to work.
As I stayed in the car rummaging through things, deciding which I would rather take then risk bringing the rest later once the rain died.
As I was thinking to myself there was a soft knock at my car window. While I turned around in anger ready to complain to whomever it was about being hindering my peace, I saw Hae-ju.
Hae-ju stood with an orange umbrella. He once again used his knuckle to knock on the car window, while I stared at him, as the little flutter of my hands occurred while they held onto documents.
" You don't have to." I whispered.
He rolled his eyes and opened the door as I held onto my things. He guided the umbrella over us, with one hand in his pocket the other holding on tightly onto the umbrella as we raced towards the lobby's entrance.
Hae-ju shook the umbrella, of its extra droplets, before looking down towards my direction.
" shall we go in? " he asked half of his hair dripping of rain water. I nodded my head following him along.
Once we arrived to the elevators, Ae-ra appeared in a simple solid navy blue romper. She flung onto Hae-ju as she called out: " Oppa good morning."
I swallowed, and avoided the eyes of the two as I stepped out of the elevator. My arm was stopped by one other than Hae-ju.
" Unnie you're not falling for our Hae-ju are you?" She asked out of notice of my shy methods towards her.
" why would you ask..." Hae-ju defended.
He walked out the elevator pulling me along with him as he pressed the top floor.
" Ride well." He elegantly whispered.
He waved to Ae-ra then brought me along.
"I'll be seeing you after work." He seemed to have instructed. I nodded my head in agreement while I prepared to finish up some work.
The rest of the day went by smoothly while I forgot the thundering of clouds outside though it seemed I hadn't been truly myself because of the rain.
