Oscar Stars
:::::::::::::::::;:::::
Dad and I walked back into the room they were before to find a lot of angry tension erupting from max and his dad. We sat down, waiting for the rift to die down." I accept your offer." I said
The look I got from men was not at all what I expected. Vanderbilt's face said ' you just signed up with the devil', which sort of gave me goosebumps while Max's face screamed ' what the fuck are you getting us into'.
" You made the right decision stars. By tomorrow, no tomorrow's a Saturday. On Monday you and max will show up at my lab. Oscar will fill you on everything you need to know. I will mainly supervise your work. And the both of you need to be done by the end of three months and off course you'll be treated like normal staff only special." He said.
" Well if that's all, I'd better be going..."
" You can't go yet Roxanne. You have to sign the contract of agreement." he said.
" Fine."
I signed that document with my guts in the pits of my stomach.
" Okay I'll get going." I said.
" No you won't." Vanderbilt said.
Urgh what is up with this guy. I just wanna go back.
" Max will be taking you." He said.
******************************
"He will?"
"I will?" We both asked simultaneous." Off course he will. It would be rude for a guest to leave at this time of night without an escort and besides you both are in the same dorms. Don't you think so Oscar?"
Dad all but nodded.
I walked towards my dad, giving him a good night hug.
" Tell mum I said good night."I said once we broke our embrace.
" Goodnight Mr Vanderbilt." I said before walking towards the door.
We both walked towards what I presume is his car, an awkward silence engulfing is. He opened the passenger's side for me, saying nothing before walking over to the other side.

The ride back to the dorms was worse. I thought we'd quarrel,oe fight about something but the silence was literally irritating." Why is it so quiet?" We both suddenly asked at the same time. Maybe he was thinking what I was thinking. We looked at each other, obviously surprised we were both thinking the same thing. But unfortunately he was staring a bit too long.
" WATCH THE FREAKING ROAD VANDERBILT." I yelled as a car flashed it's headlights towards us. He quickly maneuvered his car before the other one could hit us, taking a sharp turn before we entered campus grounds.

He felt sorry for her. No, he didn't feel sorry for her. He felt like a coward for allowing herself to be dragged into his father's lair game and not being able to do anything about it. They both sat there, not saying anything. Roxy couldn't take it anymore. She opened the door, about ti walk out when max held her back. For the few months she had known him, this was definitely the first time he held her without having any negative thoughts." You don't have to say anything max, I know what you're thinking." She said before gently pulling her hand out of his grip. She quietly shut the door, walking through the lawn. She noticed that the headlights if his car flashed, showing he had locked it. Hearing his footsteps loudly behind her, it was obvious he was following her. But what was confusing was that he was following her to this side of the dorms. As far as she was concerned she knew everyone in the B dorms and he wasn't one of them. She got to her room, pulling out her keys and unlocking the door. Max was standing there, both of them staring at each other eye to eye. Slowly, still looking at him, she closed the door. Not knowing, both of them leaned at opposite sides of her door, Roxy asking herself why her heart was beating so fast, and max smiling cus he finally knew her dorm room.
