Roxy's pov

" What do you think about all of this?" I asked as we left the court.

" Honestly, I'm so glad mum issued for a divorce. She deserves to be happy without him." Max said as we walked towards his car.

Truth is, after the whole quantonium fiasco, max had to rest a lot and the semester ended quickly.Traces of quantonium were still found in my blood.Jennifer went furious when she found out about all everything that happened while she was away. She issued for a divorce but refused to press charges against him for his alleged attempts against us. Dad decided to retire rather than quit from VALTS and mum couldn't be happier. She's currently pregnant and I couldn't be more happier for them. Max decided to apply for the arts class in the SSclass since he really didn't need the sciences. He got all the brains he needed. Jennifer is now a free mum, we're all happy and Millicent went back, promising to return with Lucas.

Alicia and I decided to have a double date at the beach. Leslie couldn't come with us cus she had an unexpected vacation. Shannelle and her folks got their dream restaurant so she quit her job at the beach.

" You wander off a lot baby doll."
Max said.

" Sorry, I was just thinking about something."

" Oh really now." He said with a smirk.

" It definitely wasn't you." I said.

" Oh no. But I'm sure you'd like to know what I'm thinking off."

" What?" I asked curiously.

" I remember seeing a particular blue swimsuit on a particular brunette that I fell in love with." He said.

I brushed. I purposely wore this swimsuit cus it led me to meet this guy.

" Thanks."

" Hey guys." Alicia and Tristan called out walking hand in hand." We were just about to check out the bon fire. Care to join us?"

" No thanks. Have fun." Max answered for both of us.

" Okay." And they were one their way.

Max stood up,walking away.

" Where are you going." I asked.

" For a dive."

I watched as he walked away, towards the ocean before taking a dive. I looked at the small fire beside me and the full moon high above. The I looked at max, his body shimmering I'm the moonlight. Suddenly I felt so turned on. The only time he made love to me was last Valentine's day. He wanted me so many times but I wouldn't let him cus they said he need rest. But now I wanted him so bad and I knew he wanted me too. I stood up,walking towards him. I stood just at the edge of the sand where the water was just below my knees. I waited for him to resurface.

She felt hands gliding from her legs, up to her waist before she resurfaced.

" Why are you standing out here?"

" I want you." She whispered.

He didn't think twice. He held her gently, pulling her towards him before brushing his lips slowly against hers. She held him, wrapping her hands round his waist. Taking her, her walked to the shores, never breaking the kiss. He laid her on the blanket she was sitting in. Slowly he loosed the strand of her swimtop, taking it off entirely. His mouth claimed her breasts while his hand on the second. She couldn't help but moan.

" That reminds me, I always wanted to ask." Why did it ever cross your mind to take the quantonium outta you"? He asked.

" Cus..I...I.. realized I loved you. And I hurt you. And somehow I knew you weren't gonna stay angry at me. I knew you were gonna try and do something about it. I was tired of being Lois lane. Maybe I just wanted to be a Superman for myself." She said honestly.

" But that's were you're wrong baby doll. I'll always be your Superman."

She moaned again.

"Umm. I very much know that now."

The rest of their suit came off. He entered her slowly, groaning with every movement of him inside her. She sighed as he finally filled her. With her now blue brown hair flowing in the wind, the only thing they could hear was their moans and groans. With their bodies, moulding as one, their cries of pleasure and desire completed them.

Far off from their sight, Tristan and Alicia stood, unintentionally catching the event.

" For a girl in the arts department, you sure know a lot about chemistry sunshine."

" I know right. Just in one year, I found out in a chemistry like theirs in takes two. Two brains, two bodies, and two hearts."

" Do you think I'll ever get the chance to make love to you on the beach?" He asked cockily.

" Maybe. But today, this is their moment."

And she took his hand, leading them back to the bin fire.

Just by the beach, beside the ocean waters, under the moon, max and Roxy made love to each other in more ways than one, proving that science wasn't the only thing with a bit of 'chemistry'.
