YOUNGJAE'S POV
"Hey Mark, so is today the day?" I asked as I got in Mark's car.
"I don't know... honestly I don't know if I can. It's too nerve wrecking. Plus, he probably doesn't even want to talk to me after what happened in middle school." he told me as he kept his now teary eyes on the road.
"No! Don't put yourself down like that. It wasn't your fault that your parents made you stop hanging out with him! Don't blame yourself okay? Why don't you just 'try' to talk to him today. Just a small conversation. Maybe apologize for your parents." I said and he laughed.
"Not a bad idea. I think I will try that today. Maybe during free period?" He said and I nodded.
"Good." I said and we both got into a comfortable silence as he picked everybody else up. Everyone was chatting quietly as I rested my head on the window.
'Flashback to a week earlier'
"Youngjae." I heard someone whisper before pulling me into the bathroom. I looked around and saw Jackson sweating and staring at me.
"Jackson?" I said and he smiled, trying to come off somewhat nice.
"Hey...I need your help." He told me and I raised an eyebrow.
"With what?" I asked and he sighed.
"I need to talk to Mark... I love him." He whispered under his breath and my eyes widened.
"OH. MY. GOD!!!! This is amazing!!!! I knew it! You need to talk to him!!!" I yelled and happily jumped around the bathroom.
"Woah. Calm down dude." He said and I stopped jumping.
"Sorry. It's just, Mark has been wanting to talk to you too. Thing is, he's too chicken." I explained and he laughed with a lovey smile on his face.
"Awhhh. You do love him!" I squealed as he stared at the ground.
"Yeah...I really do. I always have." he said and I awaited for him to go into more depth. He looked up and realized what he was saying.
"Oh uh. Thanks, but I-uh I gotta go now." He told me and I frowned before he walked out of the bathroom.
'Flashback end'
The car stopped once we had pulled into the parking lot and everyone got out of the car. I saw my boyfriend waiting by the doors and ran up to him and kissed him on the cheek.
"Hey Bummie~" I said and he smiled before kissing me back.
JACKSONS POV
I walked into my first period class and saw Youngjae and Mark sitting in the front of the class. I sorta felt bad for the 2Jae couple... they looked lost without each other. Even when they are 2 feet away from each other.
Mark turned around to get his papers out of his bag and we made eye contact. He held up his finger and grabbed a marker quickly before writing on a piece of paper. I patiently waited with an eyebrow raised in confusion. Despite being completely and utterly confused my heart was pounding against my chest.
MEET ME AT THE SCHOOL GATES AT 2:40!
The note read. I smiled and nodded before he turned back around and kept doing his work. I felt all giddy inside and tried to focus on my work. Turns out, that isn't as easy as it looks.
I went through the rest of the day awaiting my meeting with Mark. I ate lunch quickly and Jaebum and Youngjae stared at me with wonder in their eyes.
"What?" I asked and Jaebum snorted.
"You're so happy. I haven't seen you this way since Mark's parents died. What is the reason?" He asked and I tried to look away.
"You already know that Jaebum will find out one way or another so might as well get it over with now." BamBam said and I scowled. "Try me bitch." He said before I glared at him.
"Fine, Mark wants to talk to me after school." I told Jaebum and his eyes widened.
"Way to go! You are actually going to converse with the love of your life after waiting for 5 years!" He said and patted me on the back.
For the rest of the day I sat just waiting...
