"Father?" Lestat calls to his father, looking for him. "What is it, son?" Vladimir asks, looking up from his desk. "Blair is going to be in New York City in the morning. Our trap worked!" Lestat says, cheerfully. "That's very good, Lestat. Tell everyone to be ready. We leave for New York City right away. Soon, you will have your sister back and I shall have my daughter back." Vladimir says, smiling. Lestat nods and walks out of his father's office.
