Chapter Fourteen: Going after Blair Part 2

"Come on, Evan! We're close! I just know it." Raven calls to her friend. "I'm coming, Raven. Just hold your horses!" Evan calls back to her. "Be quiet, you two! There are guards everywhere!" Sky hisses. "Sorry." Evan and Raven whisper together. "Now, on the count of three, we jump onto the roof." Sky tells them, counting down. Evan and Raven nod their heads. "One. Two. Three!" And with that, they jump onto the roof from where they were hiding in the trees. They land quietly on the balcony, out of sight of the guards on the ground. "Okay. So, how do we get in?" Evan asks, looking between his girlfriend's sister and best friend. "With magic, of course." Raven says, opening the door with magic. "Good thinking, Rave." Sky says, walking into the room. "Quick! Close the door!" Sky whispers hastily. Evan closes the door and, soon, the light dim. "Okay. Now, all we have to do is find Blair and get out of here. It's that simple." Raven says, a ball of fire in her hand. "Not really, Rave." A familiar voice calls out. The lights flash on and, standing in the doorway, is Blair. "Blair!" Sky yells, running to her. Blair hisses at her and she skids to a stop. Sky stares at Blair and she opens her mouth to reveal fangs. "No! They've already turned you into a vampire!? Damn it!" Sky yells. "Turned me? No, Sky. I was born a vampire. Lestat just turned me back." Blair tells her, walking closer and closing the door behind her. "Sis, please, come back with us!" Sky pleads with her. "You know, guys? You're actually lucky I found you, cause, had my niece, sister-in-law, or brother found you instead, you'd all be dead. And Sky? I'm no longer your sister. In fact, I never was! God! Get it through your head!" Blair snarls at her. "Blair, you'll always be my sister. Even if you were born a vampire." Sky tells her, stepping closer. Blair hisses again and says, "Get it through your fucking head, Sky. I never was, and never will be, your sister! I have my true family and you're not a part of it. But you all could be." She grins, showing her fangs again. "You wouldn't be able to take all three of us on, Blair!" Raven states. "Maybe not alone, but she's no longer alone." A new voice says. Lestat and Lora appear beside Blair with their fangs shower. "Give me back my sister!" Sky yells at them, tears streaming down her face. "Your sister? I believe you have it all wrong, young slayer. You see, Blair was never your sister. She was always my sister. And now, she's back where she belongs." Lestat laughs, amused. Sky growls and lunges at him. Blair kicks her to the ground and growls. "Blair? Why did you do that?" Evan asks her. "Because, Evan, she wasn't going to touch my brother while I was around. No one touches my family." Blair hisses at him. "Blair! Please reconsider this!" Raven pleads with her best friend. "No, Raven. I've made up my mind to stay here with my brother. NOthing can make me change my mind. Now, leave or you'll die." She snarls. Raven helps Sky up, tears streaming down her face. "Blair? Are you sure that's what you want?" Evan asks. "Let it go, Ev. It's useless. She's not our Blair anymore." Sky tells him, her voice hardening. "Sky's right, Evan. I'm not the same Blair I was when I was human." Blair snarls the word, spatting on the ground. Evan, Raven, and Sky leave the same way they came in.
