Chapter Eleven: Rose's point of view

I watch as my father and newly reborn Aunt leave to get my Aunt some prey. "Rose Vladusky! How dare you act like that in front of your father and Aunt!" My mother scolds me from the doorway of my room. "Mom! She's NOT my Aunt. She was a HUMAN!" I tell her, angry. "Rose! She was TURNED into a human! It wasn't her fault." My mother scolds me again, coming into my dark room. "Whatever!" I reply, still angry that my father never told me my Aunt was the famous demon and vampire hunter, Blair Eventide. "Rose. Just give her a chance. Living as a human was the only life she's ever known. She doesn't remember anything of her life as a vampire. She needs the support of her family. You don't know what it's like going from being a human to being a vampire because you were BORN a vampire." My mother tells me. I sigh and decide to give my aunt a chance. "Alrgith, mom. I'll give her a chance." I tell my mother. She nods her head and leaves.
