I watch as my daughter runs away. "Evan! Go after her again! Please." I tell the boy, watching my daughter. "Right." He says, taking off after her. "Oh well. Vlad, just forget about her. She's nothing to you now. Remember? She said she was no longer your daughter. All you have left now is a son and he's all grown up. You don't have any restrictions holding you down anymore." Mina tells me, caressing my arm. I jerk it away and whirl around to face her. "Don't you talk about my daughter like that! It's your fault my wife left me and took my daughter away from me and it's your fault my daughter left! I want you out of my house. Out of my house and life! You are not my mistress and you will not have any more of my money! I'm taking back the house I got for you and all the money in your bank account! GET OUT!" I snarl at her. She huffs and turns and walks out of my house. I pick up the phone and call the bank. "I would like you to take all the money I had put into Mina Harper's account and I want the house that I bought her back." I tell the banker. "Right away, Mr. Vladusky." The banker says, hanging up. I put the phone back on the cradle and sigh. "Sir? Are you okay?" I hear Nick ask me. "No, Nicholas, I am not okay. My daughter is upset because of Mina Harper." I tell him, rubbing my hands over my face. "Mr. Vladusky?" I hear Evan say. I look up at him and see Blair is unconscious in his arms. "What did you do to her!?" I cry, walking over to him and taking my daughter out of his arms. I cradle her in my arms. "It wasn't me, sir. She fainted. She's low on blood." Evan tells me, looking worried. I lift my right wrist to my mouth and slice it open, then I push my wrist to my daughter's mouth. "Drink, Blair. Please drink." I feel her latch onto it and start sucking. I smile. She continues drinking and I kiss her forehead. "That's my baby girl. That's a good girl." I whisper to her. She lets go of my wrist and lays her head on my shoulder, sighing and falling asleep. I smile and walk over to the couch and sit down, cradling Blair in my lap. I stroke her hair and murmur to her. I watch as Blair opens her eyes and looks into mine. I see anger fill her eyes before she starts to struggle away. I grip her to me tighter. "Blair. Let me explain. Mina is not, and never was, my mistress. She's my sister-in-law. She's married to Dracula. I never cheated on your mother, but she left me and took you because Mina had told her that she caught me with another woman in my bed while your mother was at work. I tried to tell your mother that it wasn't true, but she wouldn't listen to me. She took you from me and I haven't seen your mother since. Then I find ou that your mother died and you were adopted by vampire hunters. I knew that vampire hunters would never adopt a vampire, so I figured your mother gave her life and turned you human. I spent many years looking for you. I'm not letting you go again, Blair." I tell her, holding her tight, tears spilling over my eyes. "Dad. Let me go." I hear Blair tell me. My heart breaks as I think, She's going to leave for good. She doesn't believe me, just like her mother didn't believe me. I let her go and watch as she stands up and walks out of the room. I bury my face in my hands and cry my heart out.
