chapter 15- You're a part of my family now

Alex pov

It's been a week since Winn showed up in our dorm to speak to kara confessing his feeling to her. But not just that I noticed kara has been avoiding me ever since she got here for some reason. But every time I want to talk to her she storms out. What can I do to get closer to her...did I do something to her without even knowing as Alex talks to herself in her head. As she heard a loud bang...ah...as kara tried to silently walk out of the dorm. 

Mm...Mm...kara can't you do it a little quieter I'm trying to sleep here...as Alex said pretending to be sleeping.

Sorry...shh...go back to sleep...your dreaming...nothing going on as kara whispered to her.

Yeah right as Alex said in her head. While kara walked out of the dorm as Alex imminently got up to follow her. Where is she going again at 6:00 in the morning? She has been doing this for a while now. Maybe she going to see mon-el again as Alex thought so kara wouldn't hear her. Leading her to the gym as kara hide behind the door and peek inside to see mon-el warming up.

Why is she spying on mon-el again for...

Who there...as mon-el said making kara trip over against the door slightly opening it. Oh my god...I'm so sorry...I didn't mean to said kara stuttering.

Little Danvers...what are you doing up this hour shouldn't you be asleep right about now said mon el

I couldn't sleep...(knowing you where here) as kara lied. What about you said kara already knowing why he was here.

Ready as she smiled. As they began to fight each other. Dodging each other fists...legs...punches.

Where an equal match...as he felt tired.

What? you were...aren't you tired...yet...as he gave one last punch as he trips in his sweat tripping forward onto her. Ah...as he closes his eyes by the fall.

You can open your eyes...mon-el said kara concerned.

Are you okay...did I hurt you as he saw how close their faces were. Ahem...sorry about that...as he moved away from her.

I should go and take a shower before class starts said mon-el awkwardly towards her. He couldn't even look at her. Leaving kara by herself as he walked away.

Alex and kara pov

Alex...you can stop hiding already. Alex! come out...as she saw Alex walk in. Why are you following me? Can't I have any privacy said kara mad?

 Of course, you can...I ever said you couldn't. And I was just worried about you that all said, Alex

I don't need you to be worried or protect me and can do that myself. Don't start acting like my big sisters because we aren't. Can I just find my own way around here where I don't have to compete against you? You don't have to pretend anymore...Alex...I know you never liked me and hate me for baring into your family said kara

Stop it kara...look I'm trying here it's not like your normal either. Winn and I are the only ones that know who you really are. I'm just trying to help keep your identity safe...keep you safe. And kara I stop pretending a long time ago. I already accept you coming into my family...and I don't want you to feel like you need to compete against me. That not want I want...said, Alex

No...I'm tired of us fighting...look at first I did hate you because you were different and my parents like you more than me. If you felt like you been competing against me well I been competing against you since you arrive. Trying to be smarter...tougher...making my parents notice me instead of you...and it not that I don't want you in my life cause I do. Just because your adopted into the family doesn't mean that we aren't sisters by blood but we are sisters by heart. Because you are my sister...you are family kara. You know what I mean..ever since you got to the academy you have been ignoring me and now you've been stalking my friend mon-el...why kara said Alex curious.

Okay...the real reason I have been ignoring you is that all my teachers compare me a lot to you. And have big expectations from me. Telling me you are where a good student and I want to show them I'm different from you. I just want to show them want I can do on my own and secondly it's because of mon-el said kara blushing.

You do know he is older than you in human years kara and he only sees you as little Danvers my kid sister said Alex honestly.
