(Aaron's POV)(Afternoon)
I keep looking at our front door then our clock on the wall. Aphmau should have been home by now, all she was going to get was food from the store.
(Flashback to earlier that day)
I see Aphmau coming down the stairs wearing a white and purple sundress, she must be planning to go somewhere today. "Hey Aaron?" I hear Aphmau say in her sweet voice.
"Yeah babe, what's up?" I ask curiously.
"I'm going to the store to get some food since I want to cook for you tonight!" Aphmau says excitedly.
I'm trying not laugh to myself about her sudden excitement "Okay sounds good, just make sure you're careful on the way there and back."
"I will don't worry, I'll see you when I get back." Aphmau says to me with her amazing smile and I feel her give me a kiss on the cheek before I see her go out the door.
"I hope it's a recipe she knows by heart, that's when I know her cooking is good." I say sighing while remembering when she tried cooking for me the first time, it.... didn't turn out too well.
(Flashback ends)
Maybe I should try calling her I think to myself. Just then I whip out my phone to call Aph, all the sudden I hear her ringtone in the distance. I rush out the door and head outside towards the ringtone, I see a phone laying about a mile away from our house. I pick it up realizing it was her phone I heard earlier, "Aph would never drop her phone unless..... no it can't be. He didn't follow us back from Starlight did he? If he did that means..." I say out loud while thinking of all the things he could do to her. I let my ears and tail pop out so I can hear her heartbeat better, a couple minutes later I hear it faintly. Don't worry Aph, I'm coming for you and this time he won't be so lucky. I start running as fast as I can in the direction of her heartbeat. Out of everything I have, she's the one thing I can't lose ever again.
