A Shocking Side Effect

(Aphmau's POV)(Night)

"Hey babe, what do you want for dinner?" Aaron asks as he walks over to me in the kitchen.

Thoughts of food enter my mind "Hmm... How would you feel about some pizza and hot wings?"

Aaron looks at me and smiles "Yeah that sounds like a good plan, I'll call the pizza place. Let me guess you want two large pepperoni pizzas and a large order of hot wings."

I kiss Aaron then release and say "You know me so well."

"Well I have known you for a long time." Aaron says while he smiles and laughs at my comment.

I smile back at Aaron "Yeah, but I've known you for a long time too."

"Alright babe I'll be back, I'm going to order the pizza." Aaron says as he leaves the kitchen.

I follow Aaron out to the living room and see him walk up the stairs. As soon as he disappears from my sight I hear the doorbell.

"Huh? Who could that be at this hour? I know the pizza couldn't have been made that fast, it's only been a minute since Aaron went upstairs." I say to myself with slight confusion.

I open our front door to see a person that I never wanted to see again, Ein.

"Hey sorry for stopping back again I- oh I must have the wrong, by any chance do you know anyone who's about six feet tall with black hair?" Ein asks me curiously.

Suddenly I hear Aaron coming down the stairs saying "Hey babe, the pizza and wings should-"

"Oh hey, sorry for stopping by again. I didn't get your name earlier, so I figured I'd come back and ask for it." Ein says smiling.

Aaron laughs nervously and says "Oh sorry about that, my name's Jason."

"Nice to finally meet you Jason. If I may ask, who's this beautiful girl?" Ein asks curiously.

"This is Jess, my fiance'." Aaron says while scratching the back of his head.

Ein looks at me saying "Nice to meet you Jess, Jason is lucky to have someone as pretty as you. I hope to find someone like that one day."

"T-Thanks." I say trying to sound polite.

"Well I better get going, maybe we can hang out sometime." Ein says as he turns around to leave.

"Yeah..." Aaron says uneasily.

"Bye guys, have a good rest of your night." Ein says as he walks down our driveway.

"Babe? Are you okay?" Aaron asks me in a worried tone after closing our door.

Tears form in my eyes "A-Aaron, I'm scared."

Aaron looks at me calmly "Aph, there's no reason to be scared."

"But he knows where we live!" I say panicking about the current situation.

"Not for long." Aaron says as we make our way to the couch.

"What do you mean?" I ask while being slightly confused.

This causes Aaron to smirk at me "The potion Lucinda made has a little extra effect. If the person under the potion sees anyone or anything related to their past, it will be erased from their memory the next morning."

"When did Lucinda even make that potion?" I ask curiously as if I'm craving for more information about the potion we used.

Aaron sighs and says "Well she started to make it immediately when we got back from Starlight, which was on Tuesday. But then Ein kidnapped you a couple days later, luckily it was the day she got it done. So when she gave it to me she told me everything about the potion."

"Well I'm glad she got it done that day, otherwise things would be a lot different now." I say smiling at Aaron.

"They sure would be." Aaron says in slight irritated tone.

"So when will the pizza and wings get here?" I ask as I hear my stomach growl.

"They should be here-" Aaron starts to say before the doorbell cuts him off.

"Oh! That must be the pizza and wings!" I say excitedly as I stand up from the couch.

Aaron smiles at me and sits me back down "I'll get the door this time, you can just relax on the couch."

"Okay, just don't take too long." I say as I sigh in defeat.

Aaron starts to laugh a little "I won't, don't worry."
