The Nightmare

(Aphmau's POV)(Early Morning)

*Play Song*

I look around me and all I see is darkness, then all the sudden I make out a figure laying on the floor. I soon realize that it was Aaron, tears start to form in my eyes as I run towards him. When I get to him I kneel beside him seeing that his skin tone was gray with a pool of blood surrounding him.

"Aaron! Wake up! Please don't leave me again!" I scream while tears stream down my face.

I suddenly hear a laugh and just not any laugh, his laugh.

"I told you'd be mine forever." Ein says while smirking victoriously.

"What did you do to him!" I scream with anger building up on the inside.

Ein gets closer to me "Why Aphmau darling, I killed him so we could be together forever."

"B-But we put a forever potion on you! You shouldn't remember anything but your name!" I say in disbelief while backing away.

"You really think that potion worked on me? That's awfully cute of you Aphmau." Ein says confidently.

I feel my rage start to take over "Don't call me that, I know that potion worked on you!"

Ein starts to walk around me "Maybe it did, maybe it didn't. That's for you to figure out, anyway I'll see you soon."

Then my vision fades to black.

"N-No!" I say as I wake up panting from the nightmare.

All the sudden I feel the weight on the bed shift.

"Babe? Are you okay?" Aaron says sleepily while facing me.

Trying to hide my forming tears I look away from his eyes saying "Y-Yeah, I'm fine Aaron. You can go back to bed."

Aaron pulls me closer while looking into my tear filled eyes "Aphmau you're not okay, I can tell you're crying. What did you have a nightmare about?"

Tears start streaming down my face "Y-You were laying on the floor dead, then E-Ein came into view and told me how he killed you so we could be together forever. T-There was blood everywhere, h-he remembered my name and claimed the forever potion didn't work on him. He told me that it was up to me to figure out if he was telling the truth or not."

Aaron places one hand on my cheek "Babe, it's okay. I know the forever potion worked on him, otherwise he would've come back to our place by now."

"B-But-" I say trying to get a sentence, but I get stopped by Aaron putting a finger on my lip.

Aaron looks at me softly with his beautiful midnight eyes "I don't want to hear it, I'm here and I never plan on leaving you okay?"

I look away for a second again and say "O-Okay."

Aaron kisses me then releases "Try to going back to bed, I'm going to start making breakfast. If you need me just call my name and I'll be there faster than you can say I love you."

"I'll try, just make sure you're careful." I tell Aaron while thinking about the nightmare again which causes me to worry about what could happen to Aaron while he's downstairs.

This causes Aaron to smile and laugh a little "Don't worry I will, I love you Aph.

"I love you too Aaron." I say calmly while smiling at him.

I lay back down in bed as I hear our bedroom door open then close shortly after.
