Garroth's Worry

(Zane POV)(Night)

Nana and I are relaxing on the couch watching some anime, when all the sudden Garroth comes into view.

"Hey guys, how was Aphmau's and Aaron's?" Garroth asks curiously.

I nervously chuckle "It was uh.... interesting."

"Zane~Kun, Kawaii~Chan thinks we should tell him." Nana says while looking at me.

Garroth looks at me confused and says "Tell me what?"

"Ein is still alive." I say trying to contain my temper.

"H-He is? B-But how?" Garroth says with a worried tone.

"Aaron~Kun said Ein had green eyes when he saw him at Starlight." Nana says with a sad look on her face.

"S-So he survived because someone gave him a forever potion?" Garroth says slightly irritated.

I sigh "That's not the worst of it."

Garroth's ears and tail pop out as he says while gritting his teeth "What could be worse than that?"

"W-Well he lives behind our street." I say while looking down at the floor.

Garroth's voice turns from anger to worry "H-He does?"

Nana's voice changes to worry as well "Sadly he does."

"Well at the news isn't as bad as I thought when you told me that Ein was alive." Garroth says while sinking into the couch more.

I nervously laugh again "W-Well...."

Garroth sighs "There's more isn't there and it's worse than him being alive or living behind us.

"Ein kidnapped Aphmau on the way home from the store today." I say looking back at Garroth.

Garroth starts to panic "W-We got gotta get her back before he gives her another forever potion!"

I try to reassure Garroth "Luckily Aaron had noticed she'd been gone for awhile, he called her phone and found it outside. He figured out it must of been Ein who took her. Thankfully he was able to rescue her, but ended up almost dying again by being stabbed in the stomach by Ein."

"Is he okay?!" Garroth asks almost yelling.

Nana then looks at Garroth "Aaron~Kun is fine, Aphmau~Senpai thankfully broke the ropes that Ein had used to restrain her and ran to heal Aaron~Kun."

Garroth sighs in relief "That's good, but I still have one more question."

"What's that Garroth~Kun?" Nana asks curiously.

"Does Ein know that Aphmau's a werewolf?" Garroth asks in a concerned tone.

"Sadly he does, Aphmau revealed it when Ein was questioning how she got out. Although he won't be able to remember anything but his name." I say with a slight smirk at the thought of him forgetting everything.

"What do you mean?" Garroth says in a confused tone.

"Apparently Lucinda made a new forever potion." I say happily.

This causes Garroth to look even more focused on the conversation "What kind of forever potion?"

"A Potion Of Forgetting, she made it just in case a situation like this would come up. So he won't be bothering us anytime soon, but what I'm scared about is what if he somehow remembers?" I say in a concerned tone.

Garroth puts his hand on my shoulder and says in a reassuring voice "Well I don't think we need to worry about that right now. If that does happen, I know that we'll always have a plan as long as we stick together."

Nana looks at me again and smiles "That's right Zane~Kun, Kawaii~Chan thinks we should be happy that Ein has a potion on him. Also Aphmau~Senpai is safe as long as she has Aaron~Kun."

"You guys are right, I shouldn't be worrying about something that may never happen." I say while holding Nana's hand.

"That's right baby brother, but anyway I'm going to bed." Garroth says while getting up from the couch.

We see Garroth head up the stairs to his room.

"H-Hey Zane?" Nana asks.

"Yeah Nana?" I ask looking into her beautiful golden eyes.

"C-Could I stay here tonight? I don't feel comfortable sleeping at home tonight since Katelyn is gone at Travis' house." Nana says while blushing.

I feel my face slightly heat up "I-I u-uh sure! D-Do you want to share a bed with m-me? So you can feel more safe?"

Nana blushes even more "O-Only if you're okay with it."

My face heats up even more "I'm f-fine with it, are you?"

Nana's hand starts to get warm "Y-Yeah I t-think so."

"I-If you don't want to I could always sleep on the floor!" I say trying to somehow calm her down.

"N-No, it'll be fine!" Nana exclaims while her face returns slightly to same tone as her skin.

"O-Okay, well we should probably get going to bed." I say starting to get up from the couch.

Nana gets up from the couch as well "R-Right! Let's go!"
