"Did it work?"

"The light went out in the gem!"

"Ella open your eyes!"

"Mom?"

I shot up gasping for air the moment I opened my eyes. I grabbed my chest as the pain of whatever hit me.

I looked around and saw a few faces I knew, and some new ones,"So am I alive or are all of you dead?" They all look at me cautiously.

I was hit with a tight hug and I slowly brought my arms around the body. I knew who it was, it was Kol. I knew his scent from a mile away.

Once he pulled away I looked around and my eyes landed on a younger blonde girl, she looked like the girl who was my daughter in the gem.

"Mia." I mumbled and threw my legs over the side of the coffin. She ran to my side and helped me out of it and hugged me so tightly.

"I did it mom. I got you back." I hugged her lightly not wanting to break any bones in her body.

"Where am I?" I asked looking at Kol and then at Caroline.

"We are in Virginia darling but not Mystic falls. I didn't want Mia here to be raised with all of the drama there." Kol smiled and ruffled her hair.

"Mom?" Mia loosened her grip on me and looked up at me.

"Yes?"

"Why did you kill yourself? Why did you leave me parentless?" Her question took me off guard. I didn't really think of how she would have been effected at the time of it going down.

"I knew-", black spots appeared and I fell to the floor. My world was shaking again and I felt like puking.

Kol picked up Ella, who was having a seizure like issue. Her body was convulsing and she was spitting up blood.

"Bloody do something!" Kol screamed at the witches who stood there in shock. Caroline zoomed out of the house and returned with a human.

"Go, you don't need to see this." She yelled at her kids and Mia. The twins left but Mia stayed. Mia hummed and the man who was screaming fell limp.

"He's alive still, I just made him calm." She snapped. The only thing the man was doing was breathing.

Caroline bit the mans wrist and put it over Ellas mouth. Ella couldn't stop convulsing to intake any blood.  Kol held her down.

"Mia please you don't need to see this." Caroline snapped at Mia. Mia rolled her eyes and walked towards his mother. She sat her mothers head on her lap and stroked her hair as she hummed.

"I need you to be okay mom." She wiped the blood from her moms mouth and let her fall asleep.

Kol slowly let go of her and looked horrified,"Bloody hell." He looked at his hands and saw her blood and zoomed off.

Caroline ran her hands through her hair,"This family will be the death of me. Girls!" She walked out of the room.

"Lets find out whats wrong with her." Devina smiled at me. She grabbed Ellas hand and began chanting and Mia touched her and began following what Devina was saying.

She jumped back and her eyes shot open.

"What was it?"

"Get away from her right now." Devina snapped and went to grab Mia's hand. Mia snatched her hand away from Devina.

"This is my mom!"

"Get the hell away from her Mia!" Devina screamed out, Mia could tell she was scared. Mia slowly moved out from under her mothers head and towards Devina.

A hand shot up and grabbed Mia,"Don't leave me."

"Mom what's wrong with your eyes?" Ellas eyes were black with purple and blue veins under her eyes. Unlike she's see with other vampires.

Ella zoomed up and grabbed Mia,"Any witchy spells and I'll kill her."

"How is this possible?" Devina snapped loudly trying to gain Kol's attention.

"This vessel is not powerful enough to suppress me."

"Mom!" Mia cried at how tight Ella was holding her neck. Only it was nothing of what they thought would happen.

A piece of the hallow rested in Ella Salvatore. They all thought that the blow had killed her meanwhile the power of the Hallow had given Ella the power to connect with Mia and help the witches be able to wake the body.

Ella shook her head and pushed Mia away from her,"Stay away from me." Ella looked shocked at her actions.

"I'll kill all of you!" Ella screamed and lights exploded. Devina grabbed Mia and they took off running.

"What the devil?" Kol asked as he caught up to the girls.

"The hallow has Ella." Devina snapped and without another word he grabbed his girls and zoomed off into the night.

The battle in Ellas head was bad and tough.

"My body my rules!" Ella yelled at the Hallow as she got thrown to the floor.

"I'm going to kill your soul." The hallow yelled at Ella.

"Not if I learned a thing or two from some witch friends!" Ella acreamed back at her. Ella zoomed into the coffin and slammed it. She began chanting a spell using the hallows power as she began to lose the will to fight. Ella was becomming weaker.

"We are stuck here. I am the only one who knows how to open the coffin. Its a trick my old friend taught me. Have fun being stuck with my dead soul." Ella laughed and the Hallow tried to undo it.

"What kind of magic?" The hallow hissed as she tried to open the coffin.

The hallow tried and tried all day to unlock the coffin. Little did she know that the spell was linked to a life, in particular Kol's life. When Ella had hugged him, she had gotten a piece of his hair. As long as he was "alive" the spell would stay intact.

Kol took the girls to a hotel over night. Something felt off with him but he rubbed it off as being to close to another piece of the hallow.
