I walked with Hope and Freya behind Hayley's burial float. I didn't know Hayley that well but I knew my mother was friends with her and this was the least I could do. Klaus was supposed to be here for Hope but wasn't. No one that was close to Hayley was for the matter.

"This isn't right," Hope mumbled to me,"These people didn't even know her." I could hear her voice waver as she spoke. Freya went to say something which I didn't pay attention to. I gently grabbed Hopes hand and she looked at it. She gave me a soft sad smile and I returned a reassuring one. We weren't on the best of terms but that wouldn't stop me from being a complete douchebag to her.

That was when a black van screeched to a stop, they held wooden weapons in their hands ready to kill,"Where is Elijah?" They boomed out.

It all had gone black. We were losing and I was being drained. I opened my eyes and everything was moving slowly. I breathed in and out. That was when the man on my neck was thrown off and I touched my neck. It wasn't wet anymore. Was I healed? Was I dead?

What is going on?

I looked at Klaus who was on the floor yelling about something. Everything was silent. I looked at the piece of wood in his back and it slowly pulled itself out, then flying across the room. Klaus stood up and snapped Elijah's neck in an instant.

I looked over at Hope, she was sleeping on the floor with one of those people holding her. I wanted nothing more than to go over and murder that boy. He was one of them, one of the people that murdered my people. The people that I was fighting for.

Klaus looked from his daughter to his brother,"Go I got her." I mumbled to him. I wasn't even sure if any words did come out, but he nodded and zoomed off with Elijah.

Where did Klaus take Elijah?

Hope had let go of my hand,"That's it." I heard Hope mumbled and she began to blow things up and flip things over.

I reached out for her,"Hope!". However, she shook me off. I slightly jogged forward to catch up to her when I heard Freya yell and I swore I heard Klaus.

That was when Hope disappeared before my eyes, I knew one of the vampires had taken her to safety. Now I was in the line of fire, alone.

Before I could react, a piece of wood grazed my neck. It cut my skin and it hurt. I went to touch it and to my surprise, there was nothing there. Did I actually get shot?

They went to reload when someone began yelling to evacuate and they drove off.

Those people killed my people.

Freya ran up to me,"Are you alright, I saw you get hit-", she looked at my neck,"How did you heal yourself?"

I shrugged,"I healed last night when the vampire was on my neck. I have no idea how or why."

That was when Freya grabbed the upper part of my arm and hastily walked away from the crowd.

A voice talked to me, it was here to help me, to guide me. Slowly I broke from the stance I was in, stumbling over to Hope. The boy looked up at me and gasped,"You're, You're eyes. What are you?"

"I'll give you a head start." I snapped at him, the moment it processed in his brain he was gone,"Hope." I tapped her lightly. She was out like a light. I hope nothing they did to her was permanent.

I heard footsteps and Freya came stumbling in with Vincent. Freya ran over to me and Hope,"Close your eyes." She mumbled to me before looking over Hope. I did as she told me, calmly and confused. I felt something if anything makes me feel weaker. I had no idea if it was the adrenaline wearing off of whatever.

That was when we took Hope to her house and waited for her to wake up. I stepped over Blakes body that was knocked out on the steps.

"Hope it's me." I knocked on her door,"Let me in." It was awkward since I had never been someone to comfort another. With my friends, we researched the hallow and magic. I guess you could say I never really had a friend then.

I pulled my phone out, seeing that it was shattered. I sighed knowing Kol would probably be blowing it up. I looked back up at her door and sighed again. I was going to leave her alone.

I went to my mother's room and slammed the bedroom door. I was exhausted and hadn't slept since yesterday night. I laid on her bed and smelt her pillows. She was a vampire so she didn't sleep much if at all but her pillows smelt of her. Her left clothes had collected dust and smelled like detergent.

I stared at the ceiling and fell asleep, feeling at peace for once. I actually felt safe.
