"So siren-"
"It's Eve." She snapped as I gathered the materials we needed for the spell.
"So Eve." I rolled my eyes,"This will probably hurt you more than it hurts me. Just saying." I shot a smiled and a thumbs up over my shoulder at her,"Yes, I found it! The bone of a man who was corrupted with desire." I had brought the Siren to Kol and Devina's witch lab to find everything since I didn't want to face my mother yet,"Means we need one more ingredient, the blood of - No that can't be right."
"What is it?" The siren stalked closer to me as she peered at the paper. She couldn't read it, only a witch could because Latin is practically built into our brains.
I reread the paper multiple times,"It says the blood of the first witch. I don't know why since the devil created you - not her."
"Probably because her blood is powerful, laced with her magic." The siren sighed.
I stared at the floor thinking,"So the first witch was the hallow. Hope contains the hallow in her body, which means Hope's blood is the hallows blood-"
"Or your blood? You share the same blood as her." Eve stared at me and I stared at her.
"Or not because I'm not nearly as powerful as her." I shook my head.
Eve grabbed my hand and closed her eyes, I stared at her not knowing what was happening,"However you are the second most powerful witch ever. You are her daughter, you share the same magic, if not equally. I can feel it, how do you contain this much power without exploding?"
I laughed and pushed her off,"I'm a normal witch. Just a bit more powerful, but any other witch would cream me." She walked over to me.
"If this doesn't work, we get Hope. If it does, I'm right." Eve's teeth grew as she bit into the side of my hand lightly. Black tar came out and I sighed, Eve thankfully didn't get any in her mouth or she would have suffocated on it. I held my hand over the bowl of ingredients and let my black blood drip into the mix, it turned red as it fell from my skin.
We went into the man tomb underground and I drew a salt circle around us so no one would disturb us. I made Eve lay down so that if she fell, she wouldn't get hurt. I followed what the spell said to do, I crushed everything together in the wooden bowl. I drew lines on her face, and arms with the mixture. Then I began to recite the spell.
The walls began to shake, the ground began to rumble. I hoped that this building wouldn't collapse on us. I kept the spell going and then I heard her yells.
"Mia Salvatore! Get over her and away from that hideous creature. I will end it's life for you." I kept the spell going as I glanced up at my mother. She held a lighter and a hairspray container. I looked back at Eve who was knocked out now. I'm so glad I put up those salt barrier walls.
She zoomed over and began punching the barrier, then she screamed. I looked back at her and she stared at me in fear.
Why was she scared of me?
"You stole my daughter away from me! I'm going to rip out your spine." She screamed, I continued the spell as the ground shook more and more. I was almost done. I ignored everything my mother screamed at me until I was done. I hope that this spell works.
It was like an earthquake that just suddenly stopped.
I stood up and looked to my mother, sighing I stepped out of the circle,"Do not touch her, do you-" I blinked and she was attacking me. Well not actually attacking me, but she was attempting to do so.
What the hell is going on? Who is protecting me? Why is my mom trying to kill me?
I sighed and snapped her neck easily so that I could be at peace for a second. I felt horrible doing so but it's not like she wouldn't wake up.
I heard a gasp for air behind me, Eve was awake. I rushed over to her and helped her sit up - I'm not sure why,"Did it work?"
She grabbed her head,"I don't know."
"You don't have a dark aura around you anymore but we should still test it. Can you hear my heart beating? My blood pumping?"
She smiled,"No, I can't hear anything besides you talking."
I got down to her sitting level and hugged her,"It worked!"
"A deals a deal, I'll tell you everything you want to know." Eve hugged me back an then pulled away.
I looked at my mom,"Not here, something is wrong with her. She'll surely kill us both." With that, we began to walk away back to the Mikealson house. The house that I lived in with my mother.
We sat on my bed, she began with the beginning of how she was born all the way to now. I was amazed and shocked, nowhere in that story did it say how or when I was born,"So what about me?"
Eve shrugged, "No one has a clue, but the signs and all of the old ones - like me, knew about your birth after you were set away."
I stared at Eve, and she stared at me. I was oddly attracted to this woman. I wanted to protect her, for her to stay around. That was when I got a text from Klaus.
From Klaus:
St Anne's church
I sighed and looked at Eve one last time,"I have to go."
"I'll be leaving them as well, I hope to see you around." She smiled at me. We were at the front door about to head separate ways when Eve grabbed me.
She held my hand and pulled me towards her. She connected her lips to mine, shocked I was unable to move. I had just met her today, why was she kissing me? Better yet why did I kiss her back?
"No mind games." I snapped at her as I pulled away finally getting my conscious back.
She smiled and began to walk away,"There was none." She called over her shoulder as she walked away. I blushed slightly before quickly stopping it, I began to walk to the church.
~~~
By the time I got there, Hope was crying on the ground as her bones broke. Klaus tried to comfort her but it wasn't working,"Help her, please." Klaus pleaded with me. I knew I couldn't stop this, this was a natural thing that werewolves went through.
"I can't Klaus. I can put her to sleep once she's a wolf?" I went over and wiped Hope's head.
She cried out again, and I stared at her feeling a slight pain in my chest.
