"Whose idea was it to come back here?" I sighed as I sat behind the steering wheel of a stolen car. The music was blasting as I pulled into the mystic falls boarding school behind Elijah's car. I shut the car off and unbuckled my seat belt. I kicked open the door with annoyance and got out.

I could feel Hope's power from a few feet away, almost the same power that I felt from within,"Why did you need me here again?"

Klaus was going to get Aunt Carolines kids, my cousins that I didn't like, to take the power from Hope and store it in something else,"Because little witch, Hope is your best friend and these people are your family." I rolled my eyes at the new nickname Klaus called me.

I walked over next to Hope,"Well big bad wolf, I haven't talked to them in years." I snapped crossing my arms.

Klaus smirked in my direction before walking off, leaving me with Hope and Elijah. I looked between the two and looked down at my feet,"I'm going to bounce." I mumbled before walking off behind Klaus.

Kol and Devina didn't send me to this school because they thought it would be better to experience a normal school, but when my mom was around I attended here.

I walked in the front door and saw that it was exactly as I rememered. I walked up to a chair and sat down in it.

I looked around the room when Caroline came stomping out in her heels,"Mia, hi. Wheres your mom?" She looked disappointed when she looked around and saw just me.

I stood up almost meeting her height,"Ya know, trying to kill me and stuff because I'm the product of a evil witch who is hell bent on ruining peoples lives." I shrugged and she made a face before Klaus stood behind her,"Oh, my mom won't like this." I said more to Klaus than the both of them. From the looks on their faces, I could tell they both held feeling for each other,"Couldn't get one Salvatore so you go for another? Thats great." I looked away before sighing.

Caroline clasped her hands,"I need you to come with me."

I stared at her before glancing back at Klaus. I let out a dramatic sigh and threw my hands down on the couch as I stood up,"There really is no rest for the wicked."

It was the most awkward situation I've been in and I knew Klaus was hiding something from the way he kept glancing back at me.

We walked into a creepy abandoned house and saw the twins just hanging out,"Of course these brats would hang out here."

The blonde twin turned around,"Who you calling brat- Mia!" Within a instant both of them jumped up and ran over to me. They hugged me, their height was slightly smaller than mine but we are the same age.

Caroline cleared her throat as I awkwardly stood there being hugged by my cousins. They let go and turned to their mother as Klaus stood from a far.

"I need a huge favor from you both-," Caroline started,"We need you to take the magic out of Hope-"

"-And put it in me." Klaus interrupted her and I turned to look at him.

"Are you fuc-" I cut myself off, and stared at him with wide eyes,"Put it in me! I already have her magic-"

"-No Mia, this is something I have to do." Klaus smiled small at me as he nodded slightly. I looked back at the pair of three as they negotiated what the twins could get in return.

"Okay we'll do it." My heart sunk, I knew Hope was dying but surely Klaus would die in her place if he took the power.

Klaus let out a scream and I turned on my heel to see a wooden stake through his chest, great. As he fell, Alaric stood behind him,"What are you doing?!" I yelled at him before storming over to Klaus.

He pointed his bow at me,"Don't help that monster Mia." I stared at him unamused before I moved my hand slightly. The cross bow flew aross the room and Caroline grabbed it.

"I'm confiscating this indefinitely." She snapped and Alaric went on and on about how Klaus was a coach roach before dragging him into the school. They put him inside the werewolf changing bunker/room.

I sat on the couch and rolled my eyes, as soon as Alaric was gone I closed my eyes and used my magic to wake Klaus up. I'm getting good at this.

Soon enough he busted open the door,"You're welcome." I called to him as he zoomed away. Sighing, I new I needed to find the twins before he did.

I looked around the room and found a plant in a vase. I dumped the plant out and let the dirt run all over the table. I pricked my finger and with a mumbled of a few words the dirt began floating leading me to the twins.

I followed the dirt all the way to the house we were at before. The twins walked around in a lit circle chanting as Alaric stood by. I ran forward panting, it was a lot further than I thought.

"Mia?!" Alaric yelled to me as I was bent over my knees,"You shouldn't be here."

"It's me, not Klaus." I huffed standing up straight. A blue light formed above the twins and I knew Klaus would be right behind that. I shoved Alaric as I threw myself into the circle.

The blue orb of power was talking - calling me. As if I was incomplete, as if it was an addiction. I needed it.

"Mia get the bloody hell out of there!" Klaus screamed as Elijah joined his side,"Mia you're going to die."

Then the power shot into my chest, my arms spead wide as I stared at the night sky. There was no pain, there was no fear.

"Hello daughter. It's been a long time."
