"Hope what are you doing?!" I yelled as I walked into the church. She stood over bodies, doing a spell with Freya. 

Hope turned to me,"If you help me, I can save your mom." She said barely above a whisper. I wasn't even sure how I heard her since it was so loud. I walked over to the bodies. My mother and Kol knocked out on the floor took my breath away. Then Klaus, Rebekah, and Elijah. They looked so peaceful. For once not trying to murder someone. 

"Hope stop!" Marcel boomed. He had teamed up with me to stop Hope. Yet when she said she could bring my mom back, something inside me just wanted to help. 

I turned to face Marcel,"I'm sorry. I can't let you stop her."

"Us." Hope smiled as she grabbed my hand and put Marcel to sleep like the others. I held her hand just as tight as she held mine. Freya on her other side and I followed the chanting. 

After what seemed like a long time of chanting and staring at my mother and Kol, a blue light rose out of each of them and shot into Hope's chest. She fell as it made impact, I struggled to catch her. Her hand still tightly on mine. 

"I have you," I mumbled as I pulled her up with a yank. I held her body by her arm and put it around my neck. She was limp and I looked at my mother before sighing and turning around. Freya walked over and grabbed Hope's other arm,"It's going to be okay."

I sat on Hope's bed as my anxiety began to rise about seeing my mother for the first time in 6 years. Better yet, I was more worried about what Kol would say to me. 

Hope was still asleep,"What did you think you were doing?" His voice startled me. I looked at Klaus.

I put my hand on her head and felt her heartbeat,"Yeah she should be fine."

I thought he had left like he typically would do,"Mia-"

My head snapped up and I pulled my hand into my chest as if Hope had burned me. My ears were on throbbing asking more of her voice. My eyes were blurry, the hot liquid streaked my cheeks. 

My head turned in such a slow motion that I practically almost snapped my own neck. My throat was rasp all of a sudden, mouth dry, "Mom."

I wanted to get up and hug her, to kiss her, but my legs, however - protested. My eyes were glued to her face, they were covered in tears as well. 

"Bloody hell just hug!" I recognized his voice out of everyone, it was Kol. 

I slowly stood up, my legs shaking. I felt like a baby all over again - My legs were jello. Suddenly I was wrapped in her arms. She smelt just like I had thought she would. Just like how her clothes and pillows smelt. 

"I love you, Mia." She whispered into my neck as she stroked my back with her right hand. I hugged her back desperately.

Her shirt was soft and her back was hunched over so she could hug me. She was already tall but the heels made her taller. She looked just as I had seen her months ago. 

I felt another hand be put on my back so I glanced up. It was Kol.

We all pulled out of the hug and I made eye contact with Kol, "As much as I'd like to say I think we should get going."

My mother cleared her throat,"I'm staying here, so is Mia."

"She'll be much safer away from-"

She cut him off,"You don't get to decide what is best for my daughter anymore." She was calm and relaxed.

"Bloody hell Es! I raised her, shes not just your daughter anymore. If she stays here, she'll get hurt or even die!" That made my heart drop. Kol was the only male influence in my life and Devina was the only female for 6 years. I didn't really see them as my parents though.

"That's enough!" My mother boomed,"Mia your staying with me, here. Thats final." She snapped glaring at Kol.

"Mia it's up to you darling. Es is more than welcome to come with us or visit if you choose to resume life with Devina and I." He looked upset. Almost like he was going to cry. I've never once seen Kol cry out of loss.

"I would love to go with you." I smiled but it quickly dropped as I looked fron my mom to Hope,"I have to protect her, help her. As for my mom, I miss her so much." I walked over and hugged Kol,"I love you. I'll call you I need something."

He hugged me back,"Stay in touch, promise me."

"I promise." I squeezed him one last time and then he was gone. I turned to my mother with the hot stream still staining my cheeks. I wiped it off hastily,"What now?"

"Now we wait." She grimly said.

Something about her seemed off to me. She seems way more agressive than I remember. Maybe the hallow did effect her more than she would care to share.
