Chapter 11.

"Use somebody"- Kings of Leon.

They say that the worst part of waking up in the morning is having to get up and face the world.

I say that's load of crap.

Because, for me, the worst part of waking up in the morning is waking up with no one by your side. It feels empty and I hate emptiness.

A loud groan has escaped my lips as I fluttered my eyes open finally, feeling the light from the window sipping through the enclosed curtains, illuminating the whole room, making me squint my eyes at such brightness.

I took a look around to find an empty room, soulless, except myself. Eyebrows immediately formed a straight line above my eyes, probably looking as if clouds had formed above the the ocean.

''Luke?'' I called out, hoping I'd actually get an answer. Nope.

Just as I had started making my way to the bathroom, I spotted a piece of paper on the coffee table. I went to see what it says.

"Hazel

I'm sorry but I had to leave, I have something important to do. I know, it's a dick move and I didn't even properly thank you for that yesterday. So, yeah thanks.

                                           Luke."

Seriously? That's all I get. A fucking thank you?  Smooth Luke, very smooth.

I crumpled the note, throwing it at the wall, watching as it tumbled down onto the ground.

I exhaled a huge breath, running a hand through my dirty hair in annoyance and frustration.

I need a shower.

So I went to take one. I had scrubbed and rinsed eveery single part of my body, massaging my head and hair with my strawberry shampoo twice. It felt so refreshing and relaxing, I wanted to never leave.

But I had to, to my great disappointment. I wrapped my favourite blue towel around my wet body and started drying my hair with another one. As I finished, I didn't feel like putting my clothes on immediately so I went to the kitchen and made a nice hot chocolate for myself, pouring it into a green mug with some flowers drawn on it. I strode into the sitting room and plopped on the couch, remote immediately finding its way to my hand. I started flipping through the channels, searching for something to watch. When I finally settled on the How I Met Your Mother, I let a smile find its way to my lips, drinking my chocolate with satisfaction as I watched the new series of my favourite show ever.

But then my cell rang. I hopefully reached for it, actually hoping if it's Luke, but saw it's just Ashton.

''Yeah?'' I said, my voice lacking enthusiasm as I took a long sip from the mug.

''Good to hear you too, Hazel.'' Ashton's sarcastic voice spoke through the line and I rolled my eyes. ''What do you want Ash?''

''Oh, nothing special, just wanted to ask if you wanna accompany me to the music shop. '' he told me.

I blinked. ''Why? We've been there last week, what do you need now?''

''Jesus, don't be so bitter. I need new drum set.'' Ashton's voice was laced with annoyance and I  could just imagine him rolling his hazel eyes.

''Alright Irwin, I get it. What time?''

''Be ready at one p.m. sharp. I'll come pick you up.'' he retorted.

''Yeah, I know, bye.''

''Later mushroom. ''

Mushroom? Well that's a new one.

Ugh, I need to go get dressed.

I played some music before I started rummaging through my clothes.

Kings of Leon started playing and it was my favourite song of them.

"I've been roaming around, always looking down and all I see.

Painted faces fill the places I can't reach.

You know that I could use somebody,

You know that I could use somebody."

I danced and sang along as I went to examine my dresser. I ended up getting slightly frustrated because of all the clothes I have but am not using. So I decided to make a nice combination, it was slightly different from what I usually wear, tank tops, singlets and tight jeans, everything black.

This combination consisted of a nice floral pants that I had no idea I even had but remembered getting them from Ashton for my last birthday, then white top with blue straps and navy denim jacket. I slipped on my usual black vans. Damn, I need to buy a new pair of shoes.

I decided on letting my hair down, pinning my fringe so it doesn't get in my eyes. Applying only some mascara and eyeliner, I added some lipstick on my lips and smacked them together to smear it a bit.

''Alright. '' I said, looking at myself in the full-body length mirror that stood in the hall.

My phone suddenly buzzed.

"be there in a bit, hope ur ready darlin xxx"

I rolled my eyes with a smile playing on my lips as I read the message. I quickly typed back.

"Alrighty Ashy, hurryyy! ;)"

I didn't get a reply but instead of that, I heard a horn from the outside.

''Hello there.'' he smirked when I slipped inside his red pickup. I smiled as his eyes trailed down my body. ''So?'' I asked with my eyebrows cocked up.

''You... have something on your cheek.'' he commented, earning a slap on the arm from me, his loud laugh filling the car.

I pouted, crossing my arms together.

''Sorry Haz, you look gorgeous. Really. '' Ashton said, making me look at him. ''You mean it?''

He nodded with big smile that stretched from one ear to another. ''I do babe. Now shall we go have fun?''

A/N:

Jeez, this was soo bad, I'm sorry. I just really have no time and I'm kind of upset so bear with this. :P

I also want to thank you for the comments, I appreciate everything you say, and keep up with feedbacks. Love you! xxxx
