Hello. This is a Tom Holland fanfic. The most mature it gets is some detailed makeout scenes. I am fully aware that it all goes much faster than it should, but I wanted to get into the Holland action asap! Updates once a week. The OC I made is not described much with the idea that you could read it as a normal book, or as a reader fanfic. Enjoy!
Day 1
Tom's POV"Oh hi Tom." Robert Downey Jr. waved to me as I walked in, dumping my blue bomber jacket on a nearby chair.
"Hey dude." I smiled. You would think after working with him for over a year, I would be used to seeing him, but apparently not.
Wandering over to the table, I sat in one of the foremost chairs. They had told me that they didn't quite have all the new roles sorted yet, so not everyone would be here for this run-through of the script. We began. I was quite impressed, although a little disappointed that Peter's homecoming date hadn't led to anything.
"...And this person is yet to be cast, but is essentially Peter Parker's love interest. She's being cast at auditions tomorrow and Tom will be there to help decide. Tom?" The director finally noticed the look of mild shock on my face.
"Sorry. Um, that must have slipped my manager's mind. I'll be there." I mumbled.
We finished the rest of the first reading with no problems, and I walked out of there as nonchantly as possible.
Day 2
Lily's POVI splashed a little cold water into my face before beginning to apply my foundation. I usually didn't wear makeup, but this was a special occasion. I was auditioning for Spiderman: Far From Home and I needed to look my best. That, and I had made a massive mistake; I told them I was eighteen. Only sixteen, I wouldn't have had the chance at this part, but eighteen. That was possible. So here I was, trying to make myself look two years older and, in my opinion, failing miserably.
Breathing in, I began to mutter "You can do this, you can. You're good enough to get this part and... Bloody hell!"
I had grabbed my phone and was scrolling through Instagram to pass the time. There, like a miracle on my screen, it said:
Tom Holland to be attending auditions today in London!
After his request of an audition beign held in his home city was granted, we thought Tom Holland couldn't make this process any more exciting. Although the auditioning location has still been kept quiet, our sources have said that Tom himself will be attending and deciding during today's event. We wish anyone auditioning good luck!
Tom Holland was going to see me? I might meet him? I began getting ready with newfound determination. Wanting to be one of the first there, I somehow managed to arrive a couple hours early. Figuring this could be a good thing, I went inside anyway and, to my surprise, was the first one there.
"Excuse me?" I heard my voice, quiet yet distant to me. "I'm here for the Spiderman Far From Home auditions?"
The man at the desk, clearly wanting to be anywhere but here, let me through without even looking up.
"Third door on the right." His nasal voice called after me.
Tom's POV
I had never done this before and was decidedly nervous. Grabbing the second coffee in the thirty minutes I have been here, I took my place next to the director's chair. The door opened and a short yet gorgeous girl (although I would never have said that out loud) entered.
"Hey!" I grinned, walking as confidently as I could up to her and shaking her hand. She looked completely shocked, and I realised she was probably an earlier auditioner rather than someone to sit in one of the empty chairs behind me.
"Who are you then?" I tried, as friendly as I could manage.
"Lily..." she stuttered, clearly a little overwhelmed.
"Well Lily, you're a little early, so would you like a coffee before we start?" I tried again. I took pity on her, as I knew exactly how she felt. I was going through the same thing just two or three years ago.
"Please, that would be great." She smiled, regaining her composure in an instant.
As I left to get her coffee, the director approached her. They exchanged a few words and, as I returned, she took up her position to one side of the stage. I passed her the cup. Her hands touched mine for the briefest of seconds, and yet a tingling sensation shot up my arm from the spot she had touched. How strange...
Shaking it off, I sat in the chair in my chair. My chair! I still couldn't believe I was doing this.
And the auditions began.
Lily's POV
I performed as if my life depended on it. And in a way, it did. Or at least, my career did. Yet, I couldn't take my eyes off Tom, no matter how hard I tried. He was looking at me intently, his eyes slightly narrowed and the pads of his thumbs pressed hard into the fabric of his jeans. I couldn't discern this reaction and that scared me. Truly scared me. Yet I carried on, the script I had been given forgotten in my bag. My memory served me well. Finally, with one last flourish, I finished.
Tom didn't move for a moment. Then, without giving away his intentions, he wrote something on a piece of paper and passed it to the director. Ever so slightly, the director inclined his head. I took this for a yes, as Tom immediately stood up.
He walked up to me, so close I could smell his wonderful scent... No, stop. He's a 21 year old celebrity and you're a 16 year old nobody. Stop.
"That was quite a sad scene. I was wondering if I could see how you perform in... Other ways." He said. His voice was low, yet startlingly clear to everyone in the room.
I nodded. I could only nod. He was just so...
"You won't be needing a script." He continued.
And his lips came crashing down on mine.
