I am a nomad searching for a companion in a desert of heartless souls.
Deep within my heart I know,
Since the day prosperity has begun to abandon me, I was left to be cursed with this cold darkness in my lifeless shell...
All I need are...
The entire Kingdom is engulfed by a thick silence masked by the inky black night which in turn was invaded by the twinkling stars as if the puffs of grey did nothing to hide their brightness. Amidst the antique ceilings of the Royal library, I stood facing the window with Nathaniel and Elroy prancing in the middle of the library waiting for me to initiate the conversation. The fragrance of antique old chronicles and bindings emancipated a powerful aroma of imagination underlying within those dusty depths. The anxiety that surfed like that of the ocean waves from the two specimens behind me is not to be mistaken. Sighing, I turned to face them who were eagerly waiting to enunciate their inner turmoil.

"Your Highness, she is your mate, isn't she? Is she the Luna Queen?" asked Nathaniel cautiously with his luminous brown orbs twinkling with delight. Elroy's were the one similar to that of Nathaniel's.
"Yes" I carefully answered and that's when Elroy hollered, "I knew it, I knew it the moment you gave her that handshake."
For the very first time, I could see bliss and contentment twirling in the eyes of my beta. He knows what it means for a kingdom to be blessed by a Luna Queen. At the mere thought of my mate, I couldn't control my thoughts on how her mere existence felt like a fresh breath of morning air in my torn mind and heart.
I know I am capable enough to handle the kingdom on my own. I have been doing so for the past three years. However, with her in the picture, expectations are bound to set. Expectations of the harmony and comfort only a Luna Queen can provide to her people. The assurance that just comes with her mere presence. The joy that fills the heart by mere words from her side. But can she handle the darkness? Can she provide assurance to the kingdom she is destined to rule? Above all, will she accept my world? Will she accept me?
I grimaced internally at my own questions. The irony! Here I am confused and uncertain whether to accept her or not and I was dwelling on the thought if she would accept me? She is a human and completely ignorant of my world or any other supernatural existence. She is, just like any other human, oblivious to the Realms, Empires, Kingdoms, Kings, and Queens, all of which she holds the right to rule by my side, had it been easy to do so.
Glancing at my Royal Beta and at the Shaman King, I was tongue-tied. There remained incomparable happiness emancipating from them. Their eyes emancipated gratitude and warmth seeping into the air with their serenity of finding the Luna Queen.
