Matt and I have been hanging out a lot more. I haven't told him about me having cancer. Not yet. I haven't even told Callie who is my best friend. It's not the right time. Matt has been making good progress especially since his situation hasn't let up not even a little. Matt and I have gotten closer each day. After school I have my cancer checkup that are frequent.
"April." The nurse says. My mom and I walk in and I sit on the bed and my mom sits in the chair nervous as ever. Not too long after my doctor enters.
"Hello. How are you feeling today?" Doctor Fields asks.
"I'm feeling good. A bit pain here and there but I'm fine." I say.
"Well you know the drill." She says.
Hours latter
We leave the doctors office. She says I am fine for now. And it hasn't grown a lot but it has a little. She says to take it easy. But I just hope the growth stops. Before something bad happens.
