Chapter 13: 1 year gap

Lucy's POV

" ONEE-CHAN! " 12 year old Tjay yelled. I sighed. " Tjay. I get that you look up to me as a sister, but please call me Luce. " I said smiling. She shook her head. " B-But I want to call you onee-chan. I want to have a big sister! " Tjay cries. I started to freak out. My sweat dropped. I wrapped my arms around Tjay. " A-Alright " I said smiling. Her eyes filled with Tears, smiled at me. I giggled. " Anyway. Where's your Dad? " I asked. " Stin- I mean Dad went on a mission. " Tjay said smiling. She suddenly stood up. " Daddy said once he comes back, he's going to get us a BIIIIIIG house " Tjay said, twirling around. I laughed as she fell on her butt. " Onee-chan big meanie! " Tjay said sticking her tongue. I rolled my eyes. For crying out loud, you are twelve. Act mature like Wendy. " Luce-sama!! " Someone yelled knocking on my door. Tjay ran to the door and answered it. " WENDY! " Tjay yelled and jumped on her. " Tjay... " she said while smiling. " Luce. Is it okay if I take Tjay out for a small mission? " Wendy asks me. Tjays eyes suddenly widened. " PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEAAAAASEEEE " She cried. I covered my ears. " OI OI OI! No yelling... "

" Sure. Just be careful " I said smiling. Wendy nodded and took off.

I sighed as I am left alone once again. I'm so tired. I started to space out. It's been a year, ever since Koh Kyu announced that Ajai was transferred some where else. I stared at a painting. It was Me and Ajay. We were both wearing our gowns. " OI. Luce " a familiar voice yelled.

Suddenly muscular arms wrapped my waist. " Hey...Natsu " I said sighing. " Whats wrong ? " He asks, resting his head on my shoulder. I blushed. Me and Natsu have been incredibly close the past few months, so close we can even count as a couple. And I'm happy about that. Ajay will freak or even try to hook Natsu up with me. I sighed loudly " I-Its just... I miss Ajai... I cant get her out of my head " I sighed.

Natsu's POV

" I-Its just... I miss Ajai... I cant get her out of my head " Luce sighed. I tensed. Should I tell her? No. Not right now.

' Take care of her, please Natsu '

I looked up to the sky and nodded.

" Come " I said making Lucy stand up. I took ahold of her wrist. " Where are we going? " Lucy asked. I gave her my signature smile, meaning there's nothing to worry about. I squatted down, facing my back to Lucy. " Come hop on Luce! " I said. " Hai " she climbed on my back. I ran out of the apartment and ran down the street. "Natsuu! " She yelled. " just hold on! " I yelled back. " gomen'nasi! " I yelled as we knocked down a old lady's groceries. " rotten teens! " she yells. We laughed out aloud and I just kept running. We reached the bridge , where I wanted to fight Gildarts, but epically failed. I panted " That was a hell of a run " I panted and settled Lucy on the ground. " rude " Lucy mutters. " N-No I dont mean you're fat. I-I just.. Just didn't stop running " I said nervously. Crap she got the wrong Idea. Lucy started to giggle and it turned to loud laughter. " Natsu. It's okay! I knew what you meant " Lucy said smiling. Her smile. Its so bright and beautiful. Ugh. Lucy Heartfilia what the heck are you doing to me? " Natsu? You're staring at me again. " Lucy said snapping her fingers. " O-Oh Gomen'nasi " I said blushing. Lucy smiled and nodded. I looked at the sun, as it sets. Weight was on my back. " Doesn't it looks beautiful ? " Lucy whispers while shes on my back. I nodded. " But....... " I started off. NATSU HAVE THE GUTS TO SAY IT! " But what? " Lucy asks. " But... Its not as beautiful as you. " I said looking away and blushing. Weight was lifted of my back, then Lucy appears right in front of me. She pinches my cheeks. " Awe. The wittle dragwon swayer is bwushing " Lucy says in a baby voice. " TOTALLY AM NOT! " I yelled, turning into 50 shades of red. Lucy laughed and ruffled my hair. She then fell back, landing on my lap.

~Many minutes later~

It's been 2 hours and me and Lucy were still in the same position, enjoying each others company. I played with her hair, twirling it around, while her eyes looks up to the sky. " hey... Natsu.? " Lucy's voice snapped me out of my trance. " Nani? " I asked. " Do you... Like... LIKE someone " She asks me, sitting up straight, facing me. I blushed and avoided contact. " Natsu... " I hear Lucy whisper and put her hands under my chin, facing my face towards her. " So... Do you? " She asks. I nodded blushing. " WHO? " She asks. Yelling a bit. I think shes excited. " Ummm.. Shes smart and strong. Shes been my best friend. No matter what we went through, thick or thin, we always end up together again... Shes the most beautiful girl I have ever seen... And I dont like her.. I love her. " I said, making eye contact with Lucy, and blushing. She smiles, but A fake one. How do I know? She isnt closing her eyes. " That girl is very lucky.... Its Lisanna isnt ? " She asks smiling, but a hint of pain in her voice.
