Chapter 22:Fucking Hell Sir...
Charlotte POV
Friday 27th of June-11:45am
I have been back at school for three days counting today,all it has been is homework,on top of homework,but at least I am not stuck at home.
I am sitting,in Photography,with music in my ears,Jay is sitting on my right side.The professor has us righting notes about Photography.
I hear the door open,but ignore it as it could be anyone,I hear people talking,but I am at the back of the room so I couldn't understand them properly,it sounded like whispers.
"Miss Lewis"I look up"you are wanted at the daycare."the lady that walked in says.I begin to panic,I pack up my stuff,quickly glance at Jay,in worry,and run out the door.
Once I get there I run in"what wrong"I ask.
"Gracie has a high temp,and she just vomit everywhere,I thought I better call you"Linda says.
"thank you so much,"I look down to Gracie,she looks very pale"lets got home,princess."I say picking her um.
"Whats wrong"someone yells,I look to the door to see Jayden.I look back at Linda who steps back and looks to the floor,why is she so scared of him,he is just Jayden.
"she has a fever and has been sick everywhere,so I am taking her to the hospital"I say and he nods.
"okay lets go than"he says and I smile.
"m-Mr West"Linda stutter's,and Jay looks at her"um,a-are you g-going as w-well"she ask,and he nods"o-okay I h-have to p-put it in the b-books."she says walking away,so we leave.
*-*-12.30pm
Dr.Brendan,brother is a children's doctor,so we are waiting for him.
"Gracie".The doctor calls.Jayden has Gracie asleep in his arms,so he stands up with her and we follow the doctor.
"Hello,I am Dr.Marcus,"
"Hi,I am Charlotte,and this is Jayden"I say and he nods.
"okay,I hear you are a patient for my brother Dr.Brendan"he ask and I nod."okay,so you say Gracie was sick,at..."
"Daycare,the teacher,called me up,as she vomited,apparently she had a temperature and to me she looked pale"I say,he nods and begins to check on her.
Jayden POV
The doctor left to check on someone,else apparently there is heaps of the other patients,and there coming from everywhere.
"How did you get out of class"she ask,and I smirk,remembering...
Flashback
Sitting next to Charlie,in Photography,was kind-of cool I have been still worried about the Sunday Meeting but trying to push the strange feeling out of the way.
"Miss Lewis"I look up hearing Charlotte being called out"you are wanted at the daycare."the lady says.I can tell she has began to panic,she packs up her stuff stuff,quickly glances at me,before running out the door.Something must be wrong with Gracie.
I quickly pack up my stuff,and walk to the door."Where do you think you going Mr.West"
"out"I say
"no your not going 'out' you can sit back down"The professor says
"no I am leaving"I say beginning to open the door.
"Jayden West"he yells.
"Fucking hell sir I am going to see if my daughter is okay so if you don't mind,I am leaving"with that said I walk out.
End of Flashback.
"um,yer people now know I have a daughter"I say and looking down,
shit that was probably a mistake.
"what"she shrieks,and I nod."but,but"
"I know"I say think about what is going to happen now.
"why is Linda scared of you"she ask and I shrug.
"um,not sure"I lie knowing its because she know about me and 'the gang',most people do,but she is scared of us,since she is Shane sister and hates,what he does.
Charlie nods and the doctor come's back in."Okay sorry about the wait,now Gracie seems to have a simple cold,but if she gets worse please bring her back up.Here is a script for her,I hope she get better soon,"he say smiling.
"Thank you"Charlotte say and I pick up Gracie,as we walk back to the car I feel,like someone is watching us.I get over the feeling and put Gracie in the car.
*-*-8.00pm
Charlie and I are sitting on the couch watching a movie,don't ask me what it is I have no Idea.
Gracie has been asleep through out the rest of the day.I look at Charlie."If I asked you on a date what would you say"I blurt out.
She looks at me,shocked"why would you do that"she ask and now it was my turn to be shocked.
"because I want to go on a date with you"I say
"Is this your way of asking"she ask smirking.
"Um,Charlotte would you do me the honor,and go on a date with me"I ask and she nod laughing.
"when"
"tomorrow night"I say"we will see how Gracie is,than my mum,can have her for a night"I quickly add.
she nods"okay we will see how Gracie is."She agrees,I smile and we go back to the movie.
That's when I realize I am going on a date tomorrow night.I couldn't help but smile.
