"Mummy,when daddy coming home"Gracie asks.
"I don't know sweetie,"I say as she nods and runs off"soon I hope"I mumble.
The party has been going for 40 minutes,I really hope Jayden gets here soon,before we have to cut the cake.
Walking back to the kitchen I see the door open,Looking I see Jayden."What the fuck"I raise my voice,he looks up to me and I see his black eye.
"I can explain"he say's and I glare at him
"well"I ask impatiently.
"not here,I can't tell you with everyone here"
"Yer well you can't go in there with a massive ass bruise on your face,because people will this you missed half of your daughters birthday to get bashed up.
"hey in my offence I threw some pretty good hits as well."I say
"whatever,we have to do the cake now"I say walking into the kitchen."Okay guys Cake time"I say and people smile.

"yes Baby you are"I say looking around to find Jay.
I see him standing in the doorway,with a hoodie on so you can't see his face.
The Party goes for a little longer before the family's start to leave.Caiden took my mum home,Cory took his family home and Christi,just left.
The West family left a little while after that.I am in the kitchen cleaning up the mess,when I feel a arm wrap around my waist.
"Hey"he whispers sending kisses down my next.
"Jay"I say,but he keeps going."Jay"
"hmm"he mumbles.I try and turn around,end up getting pushed against the bench.He presses his lips against mine.We both pull back for air,he rests his forehead against mine.
"Jay,what happened to your eye"I ask,as he pulls his head away but keeping his hands around my waist.
"I had to see some people,and the dude got pissed of because I called his wife a slut,and than I hit his son because he was talking about you"he says"but hey while I was out I got Gracie's present"he say and smile,trying to lighten the mood.
"who were these people"I ask and he stares at me.
"I can't say,because it might put you and Gracie in danger"
"Jayden,please tell me you are not in a gang"I ask
"what,a gang really,who's gang would I be in"he lies
"The Ward Gang"I say in a 'duh' tone,his face suddenly goes in shock.
"Oh my god you are,why"I ask,shocked.
"I can't tell you,not yet anyway,please Charlie,believe me you will find out"he say and I nod.
