Chapter 23:Date Night

Jayden POV 

Saturday 28th of June-7.50

I wake up,and realize I am not in my own bed,looking at Charlotte all the thoughts come back.By the time we went to sleep,it was late and I must of  fell asleep in Charlie's bed.

I am going on a Date with Charlotte tonight.I smile at the thought.

I feel someone crawl,on to the bed,opening my eyes wider,I see Gracie sitting there looking at us."Hey baby girl"I whisper.

"hi daddy"she says crawling to the middle of the bed,and under the covers.

"how are you feeling"I ask,but she nods hugging into me.

"daddy,can I see granma now"she ask

"Grandma,which one princess"I ask 

"new granma"she say and I smile,glad that she meant my mum.

She calls my mum,New grandma because she hasn't known her that long,which suxs,but you know what can we do.Anyway Charlotte won't let Gracie near Julie(her mum) since she is drinking again,non stop.

We lay there for a little bit,and I see Charlie moving."Hey"she says

"good morning"I say smiling."I am going to get breakfast for Gracie"I say jumping up.I walk out of the room hearing small footsteps behind me.

*-*-Later That Night.

Charlotte's POV

I called Anna,about the date,and she is over helping me.Jayden's mum (Margie) wanted to have Gracie for the day so she left this morning.

Jayden is apparently out getting ready and I am here listening to Anna say \

'oh,this one,no this one'.

'where is he taking you agian'.

'how about this'.

'no to flashy'.

'no too boring'.

Its starting to get annoying.

"Okay Ce go put this on"Anna says I smile and walk to the bathroom.

I put on dark wash skinny jeans,a light grey long singlet that ends mid thigh,and black ankle boots.

My hair is pined back from the front in a half up half down style.My make-up is light and I put sliver studs in along with my necklace which is a infinity sign,that said love.

I don't know where I got it from or even when.

"you look beautiful Ce."Anna says as I walk out of the bathroom,I smile and she checks the time"Its 6.50,you said he was coming at 7:00 right"she ask and I nod.

Ding,Dong

"Well I guess he is early"she laughs,and we walk to the door.I find it funny that has his own key,but yet he is still ringing the doorbell.

"so where are we going"I ask sitting in the car while Jayden drives.

"somewhere"he say smirking and I look out the window.

"hey Jay,haven't we already past that twice"I ask pointing.

"I guess we have" he say's pulling up at a park our park.I smile and I see my door open.

I must of been sitting there staring"oh"I mumble and he laughs.

We walk over to a picnic set up,I smile and we sit down on the blanket.

After eating and talking we played on the playground it felt like old times,it felt right.

We decided to take a walk around the park,holding hands.I know,we were actually holding hands.

"when was the last time you had a drink"he blurts out,I grin

"um,new years.I went out with friends from,London while Aunt Jade had some bonding time with Gracie"I say,thinking back to how wasted I was that night.

"woah,new years god last time I had a drink was a month ago,a week before you came"he say and I smile.

Jay suddenly stops,so I do to.He looks into my eyes."would it be bad to kiss you right now"he ask and I smile.

"um don't think so"I say as he lowers his head.

"good because I been wanting to do this all night"he says brushing his lips against mine.I smile and press my lips against his.

It felt good,great,you know how some people say there are sparks,or fireworks well it felt so much better than that.I am so glad we are not drunk this time I actually know what it feels like to kiss him and remember it.

We both pull back for air and I smile,he starts sending kisses down my next,Jay turns me around and pushes me against the tree.But than I hear something like someone else is here.I push Jayden away and stand up straight.

"What's wrong"he asks and I look at him.

"didn't you hear that"I ask

"well I was a little preoccupied"he says putting his hands around my waist.

I giggle"Jay I am serious there is someone here"I say still smiling.

"I am sure no one is he-"he suddenly stops and looks around.

The next thing you see is a black four wheel drive disappearing the darkness.I hear Jayden mumble something but not sure what.

Jayden POV

Kissing Charlotte and she pushes me away,Great I have just ruined everything.

"What's wrong"I ask and she look at me.

"didn't you hear that"Charlie asks.I listen,but smirk

"well I was a little preoccupied"I says putting my hands around her waist.

she giggles,"Jay I am serious there is someone here"she says still smiling.

"I am sure no one is he-"I try to say but stop and looks around,I hear someone as well.

A black four wheel drive disappearing the darkness.'fuck,Boss'I mumble,knowing he had sent someone,there the cars he use's,always have.

"Hey do you want to get out of here"I say,she nods,and we walk to the car.

On the drive home I didn't know what to say I was hoping Boss didn't find out.

When we get home we both go in and Charlie goes and lays on the couch.She looks tired too.

I walk up to the couch as well but I start leaning over,she smiles as do I before pressing our lips together.
