Chapter 8:Jayden-POV-Please Tell Me

Jayden POV

Being in told,that that I had a kid scared me shit-less,so I ran."yep that's,just what I thought you would do Jayden"I hear Charlotte yell,but I keep running.I heard her mumble something,but I didn't catch it.

I got in my car and drove to my brothers house.Once I got there I knock waiting for him to open"Jay,what wrong and why are you here.You told me you went to talk to Ce"he ask

"I did,and than Gracie ask why her dad was here and than Charlie said that she was mine"I said in a rush.

"wait slow down,come in and start from the start"I nod and tell him of everything that happened."So she is yours,told you,told you"

"yer,yer shut up"I say,he laughs at me 

"get some,rest dude than,talk to her,when your ready,but don't wait to long okay"he says and I nod.

2 days later

I know what your think,that dickhead waited 2 day before trying to help her,but I picked up the phone and tried to call her but failed,how would you feel if you got told you had a kid that was two,turning three.I the first three years of her life,and I hate that.

I got out my phone 

Charlie,can you please meet me at our park,I think we need to talk.

I think about the park,while driving there when we were kids,we would always go to this park,It was only small,but it was cool.I didn't stopped going there after,I started pushing her away,but she did.

I sit on a bench and I realize this is where I first asked Charlie to...

I hear a car pull up,bringing me out of my thoughts,knowing who it was I didn't look up"Go play baby"she says and I see as Gracie runs off to the small playground.Charlie walk over  and takes sit next to me.

"Hey"I say

"Hey"I she copy's

"listen Charlie"I say turning to look at her,where she just looks straight ahead"I am sorry for running out on you,but you two shocked me,I still can't believe I have a kid Charlie,like that's a big thing to find out."I pause "I can't believe you didn't tell me".

"I tried to tell you Jayden,but than you showed your true colours so what was the point"she say's"give me one good reason why I should of told you"she ask

"because she fucking mine,Charlotte,"I yells and than realize Gracie is here"you should have told me Charlie,I could of helped.When I had my first child I wanted to be there for it,I wanted to be there for her Charlie you took that away from me."I say lowing my voice

As soon as I said that I saw a  tear slip down Charlie's face"I'm sorry,but you hurt me,really bad Jayden,you hurt me and I didn't know what to do,and why would I want to bring my baby in a town where I was hurt and ad banned,I couldn't do that,so I moved to London,with my Aunt,she actually took in a pregnant seventeen year old,and helped me.She helped me grow up and be the best mother I could be for Gracie.I had to do it on my own,but I got there.

Aunt Jade helped me go through year twelve,as she is a teacher,and I am very grateful for that.Jayden if my dad didn't get into that car crash,I wouldn't be here,and you wouldn't of met her until she was old enough,and it would of been her choice.If it wasn't for that will,I would not be sitting here,I would be back in London."she stop talking and looked at me.

"you wern't going to tell me I was a dad."I asks,not believing it"I was going to go through my life thinking I didn't have a child".she looked at me,and I actually felt like I was going to cry,but I pushed back the tears.

"I said I was sorry,I told you the truth,what more do you want from me"she ask,more tears running down her face.

"I want to be there Charlie,I can't take back time and be there from the start,but I want to be there now,please let me,let me meet her properly.Please let me be her dad."I questions,she nod not trusting my voice."Thank you".I say.

"Gracie"she yell out looking over at her"can you come here please."Gracie starts running over to us.

"mummy"she ask,I look over at her"come,come"she say's walking back over to the swings"mummy"she yells.

Charlotte cackle and got up,she start walking but I just sat there look up to see here staring at me"you coming"I looks at her and she was pointing at Gracie.

A smile grew on my face before nodding and following,her.walk over and talk to her.She actually runs up and hugs me,I couldn't believe it.Than she ask me to help her.

It felt so right,I swear the smile never left my face,it was awesome I loved every moment,I wish I could of been there when she was little,but this is going to have to do.

I wanted to be there with her in the morning so Charlie said I could stay at the family house,with them.She told me how she was looking for a new house,closer to the schools,which I thought was great because it meant she was staying here with Gracie.

I pull up at the house."I am just going to put Gracie to bed"she say's.

"um,Charlie"I say,she looks at me"can I,put her to bed"I pause and she smiles"please"I quickly added.

"sure"than she hands me Gracie and I carry her up the stairs.

After putting her P.J's on I tucked her into Charlie's bed where Charlotte will be going to soon.

Walking down the stairs I see Charlie,sitting on the couch,that was left for her,she was on her laptop,looking at something."What you doing"I ask sitting next to her.

She looks over at me with a smile,"um,just looking at houses".I nod and look with her.

"Are buying or renting"I ask

"Buying,I am going to be here for awhile,and I want a place,halfway,between the uni,and the primary school for Gracie".

"The primary school,we went to"I ask and she nodded"What uni are you going to"I ask

"My dad put me in North,um something starting with 'P',it's an hour drive away"she says,and that's when I realize she is going to North Past.

"Is it North Past"I ask

"yep that's it,do you know someone who goes there"she ask,and I smile

"Yes,I do"I pause and she looks at me"Me".I finish

"you"she asked shock,and I nod."so when are your classes"she ask,and I smile

"mornings,you"I ask

"same,for Gracie sake,she can be in the daycare center on campus while I am in class"She says and I smile,knowing they will both be there.

"um,there is a kinder in the primary school,isn't there"I ask and she nods.

We talked for a little while longer about everything,and lots about Gracie,I found out lots of things about her.It was great knowing things.

"Charlie"she looks at me"can I ask you something,about Gracie"she smiles and nods"okay,um why did you name her Gracie Mae".

"Actually,I don't know,when she was born I looked at her,and I initially saw you,but than something kept telling me that I need to name her that,like I had talked about it,and just felt....
