You reached over and grabbed the phone. "Why is he calling me" "Hello?" You managed to say through your scratchy throat." "We need to meet up. Now." "May I ask why?" You asked, concern lacing your words. "No. Meet at the center of town." "I don't kn-"
Dead Silence.
—TIMESKIP--
"What do you want!" You said annoyed. "Oh, y/n I'm so sorry I never meant for it to happe-" "What is it then?"
"Killing. It's finally caught up with me. I've got to leave. Don't follow me." He stated giving you a cold glare.
And with that, he left. You broke.
You quickly walked home trying not to draw any attention to you. Your cheeks stained with tears, your eyes puffy from crying.
'Why would Masato kill again?' 'Why did he tell me' 'Why is he even here?' All these thoughts kept replaying over and over and over in your head.
You sat on a bench your head down not bothering to look at the people passing you.
"why....." You sobbed.
"HEY y/n!" You knew that voice all too well.
You quickly wiped your tears and put on a fake smile. "Hey, Naruto how are you?" Good. Y/n were you crying?" Naruto said with worry lacing his words.
"N-no." 'curse my stuttering.'
Naruto wasn't having it. He quickly pulled you into a welcoming hug. You hesitated put eventually hugged back.
You cried and cried and it felt like hours until you stopped but Naruto was still there comforting you.
You pulled out from the hug and explained everything that happened.
"Oh and Naruto I'm sorry I got your shirt all wet." You laughed for the first time since earlier.
"I'll walk you home. Never know what might happen." Naruto stated looking in a different direction.
—TIMESKIP—
After Naruto dropped me off at home. I instantly went to my room to sleep.
THE NEXT MORNING
"Hey guys." You said as events from yesterday flooded your thoughts.
You were about to go on a mission to bring some rich guy back home. Of course, Kakashi wasn't here yet but neither was the rich man. It was just you Sakura and Naruto.
-30 minutes later-
"Hello everyone." Kakashi said walking towards us. "Aaah look who is finally here." You laughed as Kakashi sat next to you.
"Ehhhh?! Kaka-sensei why are you always so late?!" Naruto yelled. As Kakashi and Naruto started yelling at each other the rich man started walking towards us.
"GUYS SHUT UP!" You yelled as you elbowed them both in the gut. "EHHHH?!" They both yelled.
"I swear I'm the only normal one here. Maybe Sakura but mostly me!" You said pointing to yourself proudly. "Whatever." Sakura said and she rolled her eyes and laughed.
"Hello sir I am y/n this is Sak-"
"I don't need names I just want to get home none of you are important."
"Excuse me? I never asked for your opinion!"
I was about to charge at him but before I could Kakashi picked me up and threw me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
"Sorry, shes hot-headed." Kakashi said sighing.
"Ugh, ninjas." The rich man said.
"Ugh rich people." I said loud enough for the man to hear.
HEY GUYS! I think this is my longest chapter so far but either way, I don't think its that long compared to other stories. I THINK after maybe 30 chapters of this story I'm gonna make a part 2 of this. Comment what you think. Author-chan out!~
