'RING' 'RING' I groaned, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. I rolled over on my stomach and looked at who was calling me.
It was a random number from my hometown. I was hesitant to answer thinking it could be one of my family members but, I answered it anyway.
"Hello?"
"Y-y/n"
"M-mom?" Tears pricked at the corners of my eyes, threatening to spill out.
"Mom! Where have you been I-'ve missed you so much. After you left dad made us take on killing and he would... he--"
"Y/n I know and I'm sorry for ever leaving you I've been a terrible mother I should've been there for you and your brother." She said sadness lacing her words.
"Mom? Where are you now?"
"In front of your house."
I quickly ended the call and ran to the front door. Sure enough, she was standing there. She looked at me and we both cried and went for a hug. I never wanted to let go but eventually, I know I know I had to.
"Y/n this is the only time I can visit you I must be kept a secret from everyone. Please understand. "
"Yes, I know mom. It's the family business I get it."
"Bye mom, I'll miss you.." I said tears streaming down my cheeks.
"Bye honey."
And with that, she disappeared. Leaving me and my complicated life...again. But I understand this time. I went to the bathroom and did my morning routine.

I saw Naruto walking down the road he looked broken.
"Hey, Naruto you Okay?"I asked in a gentle voice. He looked down at me.
He looked so sad that he can make people cry just by looking at him. "He's....he's dead." He said his voice cracked. "Who? Who died?" I asked trying not sound to demanding.
"Pervy-sage." He said almost breaking down just by his name.
I looked down
'He mustbe heartbroken that was really his only parent figure in his life.'
I looked up at him.
"Naruto-" "I should be going now." He said walking off. I just watched him go. I couldn't do anything to help him.
I just kept walking to talk to someone- anyone. I saw Kakashi so I went over to him. "Don't worry. He just needs time." Kakashi said knowing what I was going to ask.
"I don't think so. This is gonna take a long time to heal." I said looking the other way.
I saw Naruto sitting on a roof of a building. He was staring at nothing. I'm guessing he was deep in thought.
I decided to go home but Naruto and his well-being flooded my thoughts. I just sighed and continued walking home.
Everything replaying replaying replaying replaying replaying replaying replaying in my head it won't stop.
Naruto, my mom, my brother is out killing somewhere, my father is most-likely still looking for me, It's just TOO MUCH.
I sighed and unlocked the door to my house. All this guilt inside me. 'I was there for him' Was all I thought. I don't think he's okay.

I walked outside my house. I gave up on visiting Naruto. He never lets me in his house. I never see him out of his house.
I walked to Ichiraku ramen.
My eyes widened at the site in-front of me.
"Naruto?"
