"I'm teaching Botany." She told me and I gave my best fake smile as I wiped the coffee from my chin. Alfred washed the counter off before I set my cup down.

"I'm so proud of you, sweetheart." I told her and she smiled standing and walking from the room. I turned to Alfred who was looking at me.

"The Education system these days." I said before standing and walking from the bar. I began upstairs to the second floor. When I made it I counted the doors. The house so Big they needed signs on the door for each person's room. I was surprised when I passed a cracked open door with the sign that said Zena and heard Lily and Dick's voice. Stepping closer to the door I peered in the see the sitting on the huge window seat. Lily sat Indian style with a book in her lap while Dick leaned towards her pointing at stuff with the pencil he held.

"Now if you try the problem this way." He began and I felt a smile cross my face. Bruce had been home schooling Lily because she couldn't attend public school with her appearance and Dick kinda took over. He acted as a Dad even though he wasn't her father. I watched for a second longer before turning and continuing down the hall. When I reached our bedroom I opened the door and slipped in to be engulfed with steam.

"How's the shower?" I asked as I walked past the bathroom door.

"It would be better if you joined me." He gave me a smirk as I peered in the doorway.

"Can't I have to be at work in half an hour." I told him as the facet turned off. He came out of the bathroom with a towel draped over his shoulders and one around his waist.

"Ugh, work." He said sticking out his tongue.

"You have a fun join Mr CEO." I told him and he smiled.

"Only crime fighting is fun work." He replied as he pulled the towel from around his waist and going to the closet. I peeked as he pulled out clothes and pulled then on one at a time. When he was finished I looked away and he chuckled walking up behind me. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and looked over them at the newspaper I was unfolding.

"Ugh news." He said as the front page had bold letters saying 'WHERE'S THE BAT?'

"They miss you." I said and he let go of my shoulders and walked into the bathroom pulling out a tooth brush.

"I don't care if they do. I have better things and need to concentrate on family." He said putting tooth paste on it. I smiled and walked into the bathroom pulling the brush from his hands.

"Yes you do need to concentrate." I said dangling the tooth brush in front of his face.

"Oh sorry." He blushed realizing he had grabbed the wrong tooth brush. I smiled and stuck it in my mouth as he grabbed his own and put paste on it. We brushed our teeth sharing a grunt every once in a while. When I finished I walked into the room and put my tie and glasses on. I looked into the mirror to see Bruce come out.

"My handsome news man." Bruce said smiling from behind me.

"I got to go." I said looking at my watch and then looking up to grab my breifcase. I walked over to him kisses him on the lips. I let myself linger a moment before pulling away and smiling.

"Love you." I told him and he smiled.

"I love you." He said before I opened the door and began down the hall. When I made it to the entryway and pulled my coat and scarf on.
