Zena

I didn't know how much time passed. A door had opened a few times allowing a hooded figure to bring in a food tray and slide it into the cage but that was the only person I could see. I could feel the cold as night time came and went and I was left shivering in the 'dungeon'.

"Zena?" I awoke the next morning to see Clark, Bruce and Dick standing there.

"H-h-hi?" I shivered and Dick ran forward sticking his hand inside the bars. I immediately recoiled from the gesture and pressed myself against the far bars.

"Zena we are here on your behalf." Clark began and I stared at them. I was waiting for the screaming or any attacks.

"We need you to demonstrate your power." Bruce explained stepping forward and opening the cage. Clark and him exchanged a look before Dick ran in. I went to pick him when he quickly draped a blanket over me. Grabbing it I snuggled to it and stared at the three of them.

"I can't." I began but Clark held his hand up.

"Not on me, or Bruce or Dick." Clark said as Kara walked in behind them. She looked down before entering the cage.

"I believe you are innocent." She said as she stepped before me and sat down. She rolled her long sleeve up and held out her hand.

"I want you to kill me if you can." She began and my eyes widened.

"No! I won't kill you!" I screamed and Bruce jumped up.

"Won't or can't?" He asked and I looked down.

"I- I won't." I said looking back at them all. I was about the say something when Kara reached out and grabbed my arm.

"Wow." She said making the others jump.

"I've never been able to touch you without you hurting me." She explained and I looked down. Tears began to flow from my eyes as I yanked my arm back.

"I'm not a guinea pig!" I screamed. As I did Dick flew backwards and hit the bars of the cage. Everyone turned and I felt my heart jump as I stood up and pushed past them.

"Dick! Dick are you alright?" I asked him as I pressed my palm against his face. He looked at up me and smiled.

"This feels nice." He said and I looked down at my arms. A weak feeling came across me as Kara and Clark both gripped my arms.

"Wow." Clark began looking at Bruce.

"Are you giving us energy?" He asked me and I let go of Dick.

"I-I- I don't know!?" I asked jumping away from their grasps and stumbling backwards. My head began clouded and dizzy as I fell against the cage wall.

"Calm down." Bruce began as he pressed his palm against my forehead.

"It feels like getting a drink of fresh water on a hot day." He explained as I felt something. I quickly pressed my hand against his heart and he gasped. Clark rushed forward but Dick grabbed him.

"Your heart. It's weak." I said looking into Bruce's eyes.

"What?" Clark asked struggling to not hurt Dick.

"I can't heal it all the way but I can make it stronger." I explained as Clark got away from Dick and separated me and Bruce.

"Your a liar." Clark growled as he helped Bruce out of the cage and Kara followed him. They locked the cage leaving Dick inside and turned going to the elevator.

"What was that?" Dick asked and I looked down.

"The truth. Something is wrong with Bruce." I explained and Dick sat beside me. He wrapped the blanket around my shoulders and I looked up to see a small cut above his eyebrow.

"I can" "No, save your energy." He explained and I nodded. I leaned against his chest and felt warm as he wrapped his arms around me. My eyes slowly closed as he pulled out his communicator. On the screen the name Heli was displayed.

"She was your first love." I began and he looked down.

"She is my sister and best friend."
