KARLAS POV
I was lucky that I lived 2 blocks away from school. Or I would take a long time to get there.
AT SCHOOL
I entered compton middle school and was about to go see the principal when I saw my old friend Emily. she moved away sadly three years ago so I was stoked to see her.
"EMILY!!!!" I Yelled to her.
"KARLA WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!" she yelled back while running up to hug me.
"Oh I just moved here because of my mom you know same old, same old!" I said. we talked for about 7 minutes then she had to go. I walked down to the office and saw the principal talking to this kid. apparently named steven.the principal finally saw me and told me to come in. so I did.
"Hi my names Mr.Hedburg and I'm the principal of compton middle school. your Karla Barajas right?"
"Yea that's me." I said while shacking his hand.
"We'll this young fellow steven is going to show you around bye!!" he said the. Gave "steven" a 3 slips.
It was awkward at first but then I broke the silence.
