His mum was wheeled to another part of the hospital on a wheelchair as he followed until they came to a room. "Okay Dominic, I'm gonna need you to wait out here while we do the cast" the nurse told him, "Yeah, sure that's cool" he replied then sat down on some chairs outside the room. Dominic got out his phone and plugged his earphones in, listening to some music. He sent a quick text to both his sister and his dad telling them what happened and where he was.

His favourite song, Don't Threaten Me With a Good Time by Panic at the Disco!, was just coming to an end when he felt it. He felt disorientated and everything was spinning. The dizziness. He had just enough to time to laugh at the irony of passing out in a hospital before everything went black. Then instantly he was awake again. It always felt like an instant to him, but something was telling him that it actually was an instant this time. It didn't make any sense to him, until he realised why he felt so uneasy. There was no-one else in the hospital with him. Dominic tried to figure out where everyone else had gone, then came to the unhappy conclusion that he was in fact not awake yet.

Suddenly, he felt heat radiating from above his head, and was simultaneously filled with an overwhelming sense of calm. He looked up, and he saw a man floating there. He was tall, handsome and dressed in all white. He also had wings, a burning halo and a bright glow coming from his body. "Are you an angel?" Dominic asked, in a whisper. "Yes child, I am. My name is Gabriel" the angel replied, "Oh, like the guy that visited Mary?" "Yes, that was me" Gabriel chuckled softly. "Why are you here?" "Dominic, I am here because I have a proposition for you" "Um...okay then" Gabriel continued "The reason you have been having those strange dreams, is because we have been preparing you. Your dreams have always centred around slaying devil monsters, or as you call them, de-mons, haven't they?" Dominic simply nodded "This is because de-mons are real, in the world, working for Satan. We want you to help defeat them". "Wait you mean-" "Yes, like in your dreams, we want you to hunt down and destroy de-mons".

Dominic stared at Gabriel incredulously. "You've got to be kidding me". Gabriel's face switched to a look of confusion and utter disbelief "You're...saying no?" "Yeah, I'm saying no. I'm a 16 year old boy, I've got enough to worry about already. My social life, my rugby team. My GCSEs start in a months time! Plus, I've never seen any de-mons in real life, and even if they are real they're not doing me any harm". Gabriel looked down, disappointedly "My child, you will one day see the de-mons as they appear on this earth, and you will realise why you are needed" "What's that supposed to mean?" Dominic retorted angrily, "You will see".

Then everything went black again and in an instant he was back in the real hospital. Thankfully no-one had seen him and taken him to A & E. His dad and sister then walked up to him. "Oh, hey guys" Dominic looked up at them, "Where's mum, is she alright?" Emilia asked. "Yeah she's fine. She's just getting her cast, she should be out in a bit". A few minutes later his mum came out, with a cast and crutches, ready to go home. As his dad drove them all home though, Dominic couldn't help his mind dwelling on his meeting with the angel. That night, for the first time in a long time, he dreamt of everything but de-mons.

The next morning Dominic woke up at 7, but his mind was still heavy with thoughts of Gabriel and his final warning. He had no idea what it meant. And there was only one person he could talk to about it. He went to school again the next day and went straight to room 114. Baby's form room. Out of all his squad, he was closest to her. She was undoubtedly his best friend, and he trusted her more than anyone in the world, even Emilia.

He walked through the door "Hey Baby!". As always, she was sat there drawing. She looked up at him "Morning Dom!". Dominic sat down next to her "Baby, I need some advice" "Yeah, sure! What's up?" she replied. He proceeded to tell her the story of what had happened to him last chapter.

"Woah" She simply said once he had finished "You're being serious?", "I've never been more serious about anything in my life" he replied. "Well," Baby told him "It seems to me, that you're gonna get a visit from a de-mon. And based on your dream, it isn't gonna be friendly". "What should I do?" inquired Dominic, worried, "I suggest you have a weapon, ready to fight them when they come" "But what if it comes today? This isn't assassin's creed. I don't walk around everywhere fully armed. I don't even own any swords". Baby looked at him strangely "There are other weapons than swords" "Yeah, but I always use swords in my dreams. It would feel weird using anything else. Besides, I don't have any other weapons with me".

The bell then rang and Dominic made his way to his first class, English. He was about to nod off when his phone buzzed in his pocket. "yo dom" it was from Baby. "yh wassup" he messaged back.

"i got a solution for your weapon problem"

"You what?"

"I can't explain now, miss teros will see me"

"k but we're talking about this at lunch"

Dominic was extremely confused. He had no idea what weapons she could've gotten, and where she could've found them. This was a secondary school, not a knight's armoury. Also, this was Britain, she couldn't have obtained a gun either. Dominic didn't even sleep that lesson, he was too busy wondering about the messages he had received from Baby. Two and a half hours later, he was walking into his school's cafeteria for lunch with his friends again.

When he sat at their table, late again, it was complete chaos. Tamsin and Japeth were arguing over something, probably politics. Gemma and Gava were arm wrestling, and Gemma was winning. Baby was watching them, cheering Gava on. Dominic took a seat next to her, then noticed that Emilia was also at the table, talking to Lavinia. "What are you two doing here?" he asked Emilia and Lavinia, "I wanted to sit with you guys today" replied Lavinia, "Ah okay". "What about you, Em? You don't even have this lunch break" he asked his younger sister, "We got let out early cos Mr Price threw up".

Dominic laughed then turned to Baby, "Yo, Baby. Tell me all about these weapons you somehow have". Baby's face lit up with excitement, "Oh my gosh Dom! It's crazy I didn't get caught!" "What are you talking about?". Baby proceeded to reach into her bag and pulled out two mini saws and two metal rulers. Dominic gave her a questioning look and she held up the rulers to him. He then noticed something out of the ordinary, "Baby, did you-" "Yes!". She had sharpened the edges of the rulers, turning them into short swords. "You're actually insane" Dominic laughed, taking the 'swords' off her. "What are the saws for though?" "Those are for me, idiot. You really think I'm gonna let you fight de-mons without me?" "It's too dangerous, Baby, I don't want you getting hurt" "Well it's not your bloody choice is it?". Dominic had no response other than "Fine".
