Baby, meanwhile, was currently experiencing resistance "Listen, it's for the greater good! Heaven needs you!" "We just watched everyone we know get killed in this war, do you blame us for not wanting to participate?". Baby had figured that she would convince the angels to help them, knowing that they needed all the help they could get. "Listen, half-angel, I get where you're coming from. Really, I do. But this is literally suicide. The last remaining angels are all in this room. Once, we were ready to fight the battle against hell, but no longer. The armies here are our equals in every way, save for size. We were double their numbers before" "The de-mons? They're nothing. I've fought them, they can be killed with a single hit. What the hell are you talking about?".

One of the angels let out a laugh "De-mons? You mortals. Haven't you read the Bible? Or the Torah? Or anything about angels? You're referring to the monsters of hell. They vary in size and strength, but the most common is the minion. Little red beasts. That's who you've fought. The main army of hell is the daimons" "That's what I said, de-mons" "No, daimons. D-A-I-M-O-N-S. Pronounce it 'day-mons' if you need to" "Okay, what are daimons?" "Daimons are our fallen comrades. When Lucifer abandoned heaven, he took a third of us with him" "Bloody hell. So there's no chance?" "No. It's hopeless" "Well, you know what I think?" "What?" "I think that you guys are cowards. So what if the odds are against us? This is what we're meant for! And if we die, so be it. At least we died honourably, instead of rotting away here whilst Gabriel claims existence for himself. Do you realise how powerful he'll be?" "And that's exactly why there's no point fighting. Once he completes the ritual to take the place of Lucifer as Satan, there will be no way to stop him. And it's not like "Leave us be, child".

Baby shook her head disappointedly, then looked back to see Faye, Dominic, Sophie and Emilia approaching. As they landed, Dominic led Sophie through the building to the back, where they found a glowing red door. Sophie gulped, said a silent prayer, then grabbed the handle and opened it up. Dominic smiled, then beckoned the others to follow them in. Once they were all through, Sophie let the door close behind them. They found themselves in a hallway, the stone floor covered with red dust. "Let's find the rest of your team" said Faye, her body just barely fitting in the hallway. "We don't know the way though, how would we?" asked Emilia, "Just keep walking and praying" replied Faye.

40 minutes and two de-mon fights later, they approached their third door. "It better be this one, or I'll-" "Calm down, B". Dominic opened the door, to see six figures chained up against the wall, head's down. "Back here to gloat, Gabriel?" muttered a female voice, and Dominic grinned widely "Not exactly". All six heads immediately shot up at his voice. "Alright there, lads? We're here to rescue you" said Dominic, which was met by squeals and cheers of excitement. He held his swords, and walked over to them. He sliced their chains one at a time, saying each person's name as he freed them. "Anna", slice, "Japeth", slice, "Gemma", slice, "Gava", slice, "Tamsin", slice, "And last, but definitely not least, Lavinia", slice. As he set her free, Lavinia leapt up and greeted him with a passionate kiss. The other angels laughed, then all 10 angels and Faye grouped together in a massive hug. "So, is this Bright?" asked Anna. "Um, no, this is Sophie. Who's Bright?" replied Emilia, confused. "I am," Sophie told her "I picked that as my angel name on the flight over. The question is, how do you know that?". Gava reached into his jacket pocket and brought out a halo with the name 'Bright' inscribed on the underside. He handed it Sophie, who immediately knew what to do. As she placed it on her head, multiple things happened. The halo started glowing, her uniform now said 'Bright' instead of 'Red', a coiled whip appeared at her waist, her wings changed colour to match her chestnut hair, and and an orb flew into the room. "Uriel's orb? How did you do that?" asked Lavinia, grabbing hold of it.

"Don't you remember when we put our haloes on?" said Japeth "There was a pulse of energy. The same goes for Sophie, but instead of destroying everything it sent the energy to the orbs. Maybe now it will work!". Lavinia tapped the top of the orb, and the 6 newly freed angels were now dressed in their uniforms and armed. "Don't do anything else, there might only be enough energy for one more use, and I need to do something" said Dominic, summoning his orb. He tapped the top, and gave the 6 angels their wings. Gemma and Tamsin screamed in unison, whilst the other 4 dropped their jaws in shock. "You gave us wings? How?" asked Gemma, and Baby laughed "All five of us have wings, they're just hidden". Dominic, Baby, Emilia and Sophie spread their wings, but Tamsin had an issue "You said all five, but there are only four of you, not including Faye. And she's always had wings". Dominic gasped, as he realised "Ade's not here". Baby looked around, and saw that he was right "Where the hell is Ade?". "Last I saw him, he was interrogating some daimons we found. I guess we should have gotten him after we found Sophie" said Faye. Tamsin raised her hand "Who exactly is Ade?". "My twin brother" Dominic told her, "Your twin brother?" "Well, kind of. He's actually my clone, but he's nothing like me. Except for my ability to charm girls, he totally inherited that". Dominic sent Sophie a subtle glance, and she blushed.

"So you left your twin-clone out there in the purgatory wasteland? Not a smart move" spoke a voice from behind them. They looked in the direction of the sound, to see a hooded figure Dominic and Gava recognised, leaning against the doorway. "Gabriel!" Dominic growled angrily, as he raised his swords and Gava raised his fists. "I can't believe you thought I wouldn't notice you summoning the orb I had taken from you" he cackled, and Japeth aimed an arrow at his face "Gabriel, give me one reason why I shouldn't send this arrow straight through your face". The figure began to laugh, and he threw his head back. The hood fell from his head, unveiling his face. There was a collective gasp as the 10 angels and Faye saw the evil smile of Remiel.

"To be honest, I don't quite understand why it took you this long to find out. I was sure that you would figure it out on your own. But then when I found out you thought it was my brother, I found it so hilarious I never corrected you. Honestly, Gabriel? Of all people? He's like your manager. Hell, he's the one that recruited you! I cannot believe you guys are that stupid!" laughed Remiel, raising his hands. "What's he doing?" whispered Tamsin to Japeth, who shrugged. Then, Remiel snapped his fingers, and his hands were covered by a layer of red fire. He grinned, then told them "Sorry, but I can't have you guys disrupting the ritual. After it, I'll be too powerful for any of you to stop me, but right now you're a risk. Therefore, I must take preventative measures. It's nothing personal, really". And with that, he ran at them. Acting quickly, Dominic, Baby, Emilia and Sophie leapt into the air, using their wings to keep them out of reach.

"Oh? That's new. It seems you managed to make yourselves some wings. Unfortunately, your other friends down here don't know how use them. Or they're too big to fly anywhere, Faye" he cackled as he turned to look at her. With a powerful flap of her wings, Faye pushed him back towards the wall, but he was unfazed. As he approached Faye again, he was knocked to the ground by a massive ball of water thrown by Tamsin. "There's no water in Hell, so I guess it's lucky that we're still in 'the purgatory wasteland', isn't it" she smiled, before snapping her fingers, putting out the fire on his hands. He slit his eyes at her, before shaking the water off his hands, reigniting them. He then clapped twice, and de-mons began to file into the room in hordes. "I'd love to stay and play, but there's a limited time for this ritual. They should keep you busy long enough" Remiel ran out of the dungeon and down the corridor. Dominic remembered his vision, and held summoned his orb. He held it to his chest, and created something he'd always been meant to.

"Yo, Dom, did you make these?" shouted Gava from across the room, "Yeah, I saw them in a vision" "They're awesome!" "Kill some de-mons for me, I'm going after Remi. Jay, Tam, Gem, Vi, Anna, come with me! I'll teach you how to fly on the way!". Dominic sprinted out, the 5 other angels close behind him. As they ran through the halls, they followed the continuing flow of de-mons out, killing as many as they could on the way. They came out of a doorway, to see a crowd of armoured de-mons, standing in front of a stage, Remiel flying above it. "I've seen these guys before, the de-mons with armour. I think they're like captains or something, because they can actually talk. They have, like, snake tongues too. Still we should be able to kill them, just it'll take more than one hit.Vi, Tam, you guys are coming up on that stage with me. We gotta deal with Remi before he completes the ritual". As Japeth, Anna and Gemma began to attack the de-mon captains, Dominic, Tamsin and Lavinia approached the stage.
