"Man, I'm gonna miss those four" sighed Anna, and Dominic raised an eyebrow "I thought you didn't like us" "I like the others just fine, Dom, you're the one I hate" "Aww, thanks Nyx" "You can call me Anna, you know that. There are no archangels around to say otherwise" "You've told me that before, Nyx, just Let it Go" "And that's exactly why I hate you". Dominic laughed, as Baby dropped into the seat next to him "Okay, they got out of the portals safely, and their blessings worked. They'll probably integrate right back into their families". Dominic said a silent prayer, thanking God. He hadn't been surprised when Gemma had asked to go back to earth with Gava, but he had been more shocked when Japeth and Tamsin had announced that they were dating, and wanted to go with them. "Also Anna," Lavinia called over to them "We do have an archangel". Anna scoffed "I don't count Phanuel as an archangel. He's barely more powerful than we are" "Just because he's injured, doesn't mean he's not powerful".

"If he was powerful, he wouldn't have gotten injured" stated Emilia, without looking away from the screen. "Don't get distracted, Em, or you'll lose that first place position" said Sophie, gazing at the screen just as intently, "Don't get jealous, just because I'm better than you at Forza" "You're not, I'm just waiting for the right moment" "Sure thing, Soph". Dominic was glad that they could all just sit together, enjoying themselves, but it was bittersweet. He might have only had him for a few days, but he missed Ade. Dominic spent a lot of time thinking about his blue-haired twin, and often tried to communicate with him mentally, without any luck. He wasn't sure exactly what Ade had done, but he knew that Ade did it to save them. He didn't know why Lucifer had been there either, but he had no way of finding out either. He also missed Faye, despite knowing exactly where she was. Two weeks ago, right after they first got back to heaven, she had gone on a mission from Phanuel, looking for some sort of bridge. Dominic sighed, said another silent prayer, and made his way to the library, Baby right behind him as always.

In hell, someone else was thinking about a person they would never see again. But this person didn't particularly want to. "Luci, I don't get it, why can't you destroy our link?" asked Ade, but Lucifer shook his head "I've told you before, it's Spirit energy. I have no control over it, I was cut off from heaven a long time ago" "You have black magic though, don't you?" "Blessings are more powerful" "Luci, he's always trying to talk to me. It takes everything in me to ignore his calls" "Quit your whining. You're a daimon now" "Doesn't mean I don't get annoyed" "Okay, listen. I could send you far away, to a place where the link doesn't work, but I'd need an incredible amount of Spirit energy" "How do we do that?" "It would be pretty easy, using your old halo, but we'd need someone to open the connection from the other side. And they have to do it from heaven, otherwise there won't be enough Spirit energy present" "How would that happen?" "Why, cursed magic of course. The strongest kind, and also the most dangerous. A combination of blessings and standard black magic" "So, someone would have to use cursed magic in this other place, and I could go there?" "Exactly" "So, where is it?" "One of the other dimensions, of course".

Ade was shocked "What other dimensions? We were never told about any other dimensions" "Well of course you weren't. We're not supposed to interact, things get too complicated when you have two of the same thing in the same place" "So, this is a dimension where I don't exist?" "Yes and no. Adeyinka doesn't exist there, but Dominic does" "So, when does that happen?" "I don't know. The Guardian there is very unpredictable. He makes some very stupid decisions" "How do you know that?" "There may be multiple hells, but there is only one Hell" "You just said the same thing twice" "The first hell was referring to this place that we live in. The second Hell is the domain of eternal torture for sinners. I sometimes see the other versions of me when I'm down there, but sadly part of my punishment is that I can never go to any other dimensions, or even interact with their sections of hell. But we occasionally meet at the boundaries and chat" "That makes no sense" "It doesn't have to" "But you're saying that eventually, I might be able to go over?" "Provided that Dominic doesn't decide to clone himself, probably. As a last resort option, of course. There are more ways to destroy Remiel than just making a deal with the devil".
