Brooklynn's POV:

I finished fixing myself up but still wanted to go home a freshen up. I walked down the stairs to see Sawyer and Joey sitting at the bar, staring intently at the screen. I cleared my throat. They looked at me and Sawyer quickly closed the laptop. His face then relaxed and he smiled.

"Wow, you don't take long in the restroom",he said while trying to force a laugh,"Do you want anything to eat?"

"No, I think I'm just gonna head home, I need to check in with my roommates anyway." I said as I made my way towards the door. As I turned to grab the door handle, Sawyer wrapped me in a huge hug, a bit too tight. I started to feel that something was going on. I dismissed it when he kissed me. When I finally pulled away and made my way towards my apartment, I realized I left my phone and shoes at the pool. I had my hand on the door of my place, trying to decide if I wanted to go get my things first when all of a sudden I was pulled into the apartment by Mia. I was surprised by her strength.

"What's going on??" I asked when I saw Sarah, Morgan, and surprisingly Codie sitting in front of my laptop.

"You have to promise you won't go off and do something irrational if we tell you." she said as she sat me in between my friends." Do you have your phone with you?" she asked.

"No, I left it by the pool yesterday." I replied, looking back and forth from my friends.

"No wonder she doesn't know." Codie said shaking his head. At this point, I started to become more annoyed than anything.

"What's going on, what are you hiding from me?" I asked. They all looked at each other, and Sarah reached over to wake up the screen on the laptop. They screen popped up and the first thing I see is Sawyer's name. My heart then dropped when I saw the pictures of him and some girl, who is supposedly his girlfriend.

"I'm sorry you had to find out this way, but I told you about guys like him.His type is no good. He will---" I didn't hear anything else she said. I pushed my laptop away from me and slowly placed my now throbbing forehead on the counter. And for the first time in 2 years, I cried.
