Settling in front of my computer in my office, I thought about posting my feelings on Twitter. I grasped at my pockets for my phone, realizing I must have left it in my car. Hitch was going crazy because of the movers outside. I took him upstairs in my room and shut the door. I walked back down and grabbed my keys. I opened the door and stepped out, turning around to lock the door. I started walking and turned the corner for the elevator when my chest connected with the sharp corner of a cardboard box. I looked up at who I just ran into and it was her. God, she was more beautiful outside car. She dropped the box and looked up at me and her eyes got wide. The same expression was on her face as before, only this time, it looked more severe.

"Sorry" I said, " guess I should look where I'm going." I said looking dead into her eyes. She continued to stare at me as if she didn't hear me. I decided to try again.

"I'm Sawyer Hartman. And you are?" I asked. She made an audible squeaky noise and blinked. She then shook her head back and forth, with her eyes closed tight. She finally looked back up at me and spoke.

"Hi, yeah, sorry. I guess I should have been looking where I was going. My bad if I hurt you. I'm Brooklynn." she said wiping her hand on her shorts and holding it out. Her voice was so beautiful. Just so pure, like an actress. I grabbed her hand, expecting it to be soft, but it was better. I felt like soft down feathers. We stood there, looking at each other and shaking hands until she seemed to remember the box at he feet. She let go of my hand and reached down to pick up the box. I took that time to look her over. She had on a football tee shirt with my favorite number on the back. She had on shorts and Marcus Butler on her shoes. I didn't want there to be an awkward silence between us so I complemented her the only was I knew how at the moment.

"That's my favorite number." I said sounding like an idiot. She looked up at me with a confused look on her face so I continued.

" 19. Its my favorite number." I explained. All at once, she smiled and my heart stopped.

" My birthday is on the 19th. September actually." she replied still smiling. At that moment, the elevator dinged and we both looked over to see Joey emerging from the open doors. He looked up at me and walked over.

"Hey Sawyer, didn't you leave Tyler's a while ago?" he asked

"Yeah, I stopped by Whole Foods to get some things. I was just going back out to get my phone when I bumped into Brooklynn here." I said, motioning toward her.

" I was wondering when you were going to introduce us. I'm Joey." he said to Brooklynn holding out his hand. She took it and they shook, but not as long as she shook mine.

"We're roommates." he added. They talked for a few seconds and then magically exchanged numbers. I didn't really hear what they said, I was too busy looking at her. Then I heard her say my name to Joey.

" Don't forget to give it to Sawyer here, when he goes to get his phone." she said, slightly laughing. I'll see you guys later." she said walking away.

"See you inside." Joey said as he headed for the apartment. Once again I got back to the task at hand. Getting my phone. Just as I was about to get on, I heard a scream. Fearing it was Brooklynn, I ran back around the corner. Just as I was ready to attack whoever was hurting her, I started to laugh. I was the fan girl from before.

" Joey!? OH MY GOSH, IT JOEYGRACEFFA!!!!!LIKEOHMYFREAKINGODIMGONNADIEILOVEYOUSOMUCHWETEGONNAGETMARRIEDANDHAVEBEAUTIFULBABIESANDILOVEYOUSOMMMMUUUCCCHHHH!!!!!!" she screamed while holding the sides of her face. All of a sudden, Brooklynn appeared and yelled.

"Morgan, calm down!! He's just like a normal person. No need to freak. Sorry about that Joey." she said as she began to drag her friend down the walkway. Joey just laughed and entered the apartment. I turned, still laughing at what just happened and went on to get my phone. Today really was a good day.
