A Talk

"You want to what?" Tails asked.
"It's not what we want to do, it's a thought, Tails." Sonic said.
"But why, Sonic?" Tails frowned.
Sonic went over to his sidekick and placed his hand on his shoulder.
"Tails, me and Blaze want to take another step in our relationship, and we think we should find our own place." Sonic explained.
"It's not because we don't appreciate everything your doing for us. We really do, but we want to take some weight off your back." Blaze added.
"But I'll be alone. Knuckles only stays here for a month and then he goes back to Angel Island for his guardian duties." Tails protested.
"Tails, I'll still come and visit you, plus, your one of the toughest guys I know, and your the smartest guy I know, so you'll be fine, little buddy. Plus if you ever need anything, then me and Blaze will come running in an instant." Sonic told him.
"Then I support your decision." Tails hugged Sonic and Blaze.
"Now we need to find a place to stay." Blaze said to Sonic.
"Easier said than done." Sonic joked.
"I'll help." Knuckles said.
"Thanks, Knux."
