'Two down, three to to go,' James said.

'Three down,' Bones said. 'Don't forget Lara.'

'You know, with all due respect, it would be so much easier for me to understand what's going on if you just fucking told me what Claire said.' James fumed.

'Last time I checked, "fucking" isn't a very respectable word.' Bones said picking up her phone.

'You are impossible. You know what? Screw it. I'm going to go and tell Elizabeth everything.' James pulled the door.

Detective Bones rose from her chair. She rushed towards James and slammed the door shut.

'Shut up,' she said. 'Or I will make you.'

'I'd like to see you try,' James said, inching closer.

Detective Bones lost control for the first time in many years. And she did the one thing she'd sworn she'd never do. Vera Bones kissed James.

James didn't hold back. He had been waiting for this moment for a very long time. Bones had become his new addiction, and he didn't want to lose her. He'd always had a thing for older women.
