Minutes later, Matt arrived in front of the motel.
I noticed the stubbles on his face. He looked, well, still gorgeous, but stressed-out! Poor Matt, he might have been worried sick looking for me.
Oh, I miss him so badly, too. I decided to run to him. He was taken aback when I jumped at him, my paws leaving a mark on his shirt. He fell butt first on the floor. I can't help myself from licking him all over his face.
"I missed you,Matt!" A loud bark escaped my mouth.
"Oh woah!" He brushed my head. "Thrilled to see me, huh?"
I stepped away from him as he stood up, removing my paws stain on his shirt.
"Of course! I thought I won't be able to see you again, love." I fought the urge to jump at him again.
He turned to Debby. "Where did you find her?"
"There. Just outside my motel. I thought she's a dog- a Siberian Huskey or something."
Matt's lips broke into a side smile. "You've been around this territory for years now, Deb, and you still can't differentiate a wolf to a wolf-like dog?"
Debby rolled her eyes at him. "They LOOK the same to me!", she defended.
He just laughed at her. "Alright. Well, I'll take her back to the mansion first, while I figure out what to do with her."
"Alright."
"Alright, I gotta go now." He let out a breath.
Before he turned his back, she said, "I'm sure you'll find her, Matt. Just don't stop searching, and you'll find her."
Matt gave her a sad smile. "I won't."
When he turned to me, our eyes locked. I wished he would read in my eyes how much I missed him, how much I love him, and that... I am back for him. But, his brows just moved into a furrow. Then, he looked away. My heart burned inside my chest. He didn't recognize me...
A small whine escaped my mouth.
"Matt! It's me... your mate!"
Matt kissed Debby on both cheeks, and said his goodbye. He then turned to me and motioned me to follow him outside.
"Call me the moment you found Blair!", Debby shouted at him as we made our way out of the motel.
I looked down. Tears welled up in my eyes.
"He found me, Deb. I'm here. I'm right here..."

When we reached the mansion, I saw Donovan with seven of the pack's werewolves standing in front.
They nodded at Matt.
"Shall we start the search, Alpha?", Donovan asked. When he noticed me standing beside Matt, he frowned, and asked, "Who's that?"
Matt looked as if he had forgotten about me. "Oh. Deb found her near the motel."
Donovan walked towards me. He kneeled down, and moved his face close to mine. He sniffed me. "It's just a wolf."
'IT'.
I don't think I'll ever like being referred to as an 'IT', though I did lost my human.
"Yeah.", Matt confirmed.
Donovan frowned. "What do you plan to do with it, Alpha?"
"I dunno. But, she'll be staying here until she finds her pack, or her pack finds her. Whichever comes first."
