Pan skimmed through each lost boy, saying there names quickly then moving on until he landed on a extremely tall, skinny boy named Felix. His most striking feature though had to be the large scar that ran across the right side of his face. I recognized that name and blurted out before I could stop myself, "You're the jackass who hit me with a club".
Felix look at me with annoyance, "Yes that would be me."
"Alessia, Felix is going to be your guide for your first few days in Neverland. He'll make sure you don't do anything too stupid. Now enjoy yourself..." Pan began to walk away from us before turning around once more to look at me and wink "...but not too much."
I seriously hate him.
Felix let out a sigh "Of course he put me with the newby... and a girl of all things".
I ignored his comment because I was too busy looking around, observing this new odd place. There were targets hanging along a line of trees to my left. To my right in the shallow forest I could see a bunch off hammocks. That must be where they sleep. Near that area was a long table, and just to the right of that were two brown tents.
"I'm sure you can figure this part out so lets just keep going...". Felix began to lead me through the woods. He showed me different plants and berries and told me which were safe and which weren't. He was especially careful to show me a plant called Dreamshade.
" This is the most deadly plant on this island" Felix said, "If you are so much as scratched by a thorn on this you'll die within an hour."
I looked at the plant with curiosity, "Is there a cure?"
"Yes, but it's hard to acquire. Even if you do manage to get it, the Dreamshade will still have you knocked out for at least a few days."
............
To finish off our tour Felix took me to a small hot spring in the middle of the forest.
"This is where you'll bathe. The only other people who get to come here are me and Pan so don't go blabbing your mouth.", " The other boys are forced to bathe in a freezing lagoon." Felix added with a snicker. There was a darkness to Felix but it was much different from Pan's. Felix just seemed like a boy who was thrown into this strange world, and was forced to grow tough because of it.
On our way back to camp all I could think about was my home. My mom and dad and how worried they must be right now. I wanted to go home... I just needed to figure out a way how.
Suddenly, Felix grabbed me by the arm and pulled me close enough to him so that he only had to whisper.
"I know what you're thinking-" he said, "And there is no way home. Right now the best thing you can do is accept what's happened and obey Pan. I know he may seem fun and lighthearted... but he's done terrible things Alessia, and there's no doubt in my mind he'd do them again. "
I was shocked by this, and I said nothing but "okay", but my heart was racing and the gears in my mind were working overdrive to try and comprehend, to understand what Felix was saying. Was Pan really that bad? Am I ever going to see my mom and dad again?
These thoughts were still pumping through my mind until we reached the camp where a fire was blazing at least 8 feet high. Around it were the lost boys. They were...dancing? It seemed like a celebration was underway as the pounding of drums drowned out the crackling of the fire. And there in the center of it all stood Pan with his pipe, playing a hypnotic tune. It was as if he owned them.
Oh Peter Pan, what are you?
A/N: Hey, for people reading this story who watch OUAT: in this version Pan is not Rumple's father because that's just...gross. Sorry to stray from the plot but that little fact about Pan kind of ruins his appeal in my opinion. Anyways, hope you're enjoying the story so far :)
