Dear Diary...

A Day Off?

< Jungkook POV >

"Oh, wow!" Taehyung and I act surprised and excited. They are dog balloons. "Thanks hyung-" Taehyung says and hugs the balloon, as I do the same.

"I honestly didn't know what to get you, so I got you that and I'll buy you guys dinner one night." Suga shrugs.

"Sounds good to me!" Taehyung shouts and smiles happily like a little kid.

I pull my phone out and check the message chat with Yeri. Nothing.. "Jungkook." I jump, dropping my phone onto the couch and look to where the voice came from. "Can you please not be on your phone while we open gifts?" Namjoon talks like such a dad.

"Sorry-" I tie the end of the balloon to my phone so it doesn't fly off to the ceiling.

"Jimin, you're next." Jimin smiles happily and passes out his gifts to everyone.

I open mine and see Red Velvet's latest album. I open the album and see Yeri's photo card and smile a little to myself. "Thanks Jimin."

"I knew you would like it." He smiles and comes over. "Hey, how did it go last night?"

"Oh yeah, how did that go?" Suga joins in.

Everyone looks at me and I blink. "She didn-"

Suddenly, a knock at the door was heard. I stand up, go to the door and open it. "Seulgi?" Everyone stands up and go over to the doorway behind me. "What ar-"

"Yeri's gone."

My heart dropped. "What do you mean she's gone?"

"She wasn't there when we woke up. We've been searching for her everywhere, we can't find her. All that was there was this note at the front desk of the building." She hands me the note. I scan it over and look up at Seulgi. "We tried to figure it out but we didn't know what it meant."

"I know where she is." Everyone perked up. "I have read thousands and thousands of mystery books. Nothing will get past me."

"Jungkook reads?" J-hope nudges Jin, trying to crack a joke. No response was made from it, so it made him quiet again.

"Great! Let's go get her!"

"I need to go alone." I turn around to my members and look at them. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. But I have to, or else something bad will happen." Their eyes widen as they shake their heads. I turn back to Seulgi, "If you would like to stay here, you are more than welcome to. Now if you excuse me, I have to go and get her." I start to run out of the building.

I run over to the nearest noodle shop and run in. The person behind the counter had a warm smile on his face. "Hello, what ca-"

"Where is she?" I stare at him, breathing heavily and in a 'ready to fight' stance.

His smile disappears and his expression turns into a stone-cold face. "We've been expecting you." He motions me over to his position, behind the kitchen. I walk behind the counter. He points to the closet. I open the closet door, revealing a set of stairs. I walk down the set of stairs, closing the door to the closet behind me.

When I reach the bottom, I find darkness. I feel around the wall to find the light switch. Feeling my hands around, I finally find a switch, flicking it on. The lights flash on and I get a chance to look around. Who in the world... I look around to see chains after chains. I scan the room and find no one. I walk through the hallway, passing the empty chains.

Finally reaching the end of the hallway, I lock my eyes on a door. I run to the door and try to open it. Locked- I back up a few inches and take a deep breath. With all my strength, I kick the door, knocking it down.
