CHAPTER 15
I entered in my security pass code to get by the gate and the Ice Queen jumped up on top of the car. I drove over the bridge and entered the compound the gate closing shut behind me. The place was like a castle, with a training area in the middle but it did have nice bedrooms and stuff.
I drive up and park in front of the place. A Steward I knew well in familiar black attire stands on the top of the stairs. We all exit the vehicle and I look over the group. I feel my body flush with slight worry. These Servants could get killed here... or at least harmed...
"Lady Karsyn, we were expecting you sooner." He calls out and I breathe slowly trying to calm my raising heart as I, walk up to him and the group a few feet behind me but Nick and Ice Queen at my heels.
"I had to take care of a few things before I returned, I apologize for the wait." I bow deeply towards him. He watched me like a hawk every second.
"It seems you haven't lost your grace while you've been away. The Lords have already retired for the day, but they shall request your presence and the presence of your comrades in the morning." I hold in my sigh of relief but make sure to stay bowing. I pray the Servants are too interested in watching and don't plan on talking...Especially Archer...
"Good day." He leaves and I stand up straight only after he vanishes around a corner.
"Don't let Mercer get to you, he missed you." Sapphire says to my left and I turn to him. Black hair covered his right eye which was actually covered in an eye path. He had silver eyes and pale skin. He wore black clothes with a blue cloak with a hood that lay around his shoulders. He had silver arm and leg armor and wore black gloves with black boots. A Scythe lay across his back and he had a cocky grin on his face.
"I doubt it." I sigh and turn to the Servants behind me who look up at the building in curiosity.
"I never thought you'd go back to that proper behavior, pet. It suits you better than your emotional one, and I love a trained lap dog." Archer taunts and both ice and fire circle him. Sapphire and Nick stare down the False God/King with hatred.
"Be weary with what you say Archer." He looks at me and I smile. "I have many friends here who will defend my name, and those that fear me so much they will defend me to their deaths."
"I have to go love." Nick says kissing my cheek before leaving around the same corner Mercer did. I motion with my hand and we all walk through the decorated halls of red carpet, gold décor and paintings of the great Lords and those that have been deemed great in our history.
"Your home is not as horrible as I first believed. You have sliver of class, Karsyn." Archer tattled and I roll my eyes making sure to scan for people.
"I did not know you came from such finery..." Rider notes and I huff not wanting to really talk about this with them, especially here.
"You have weird Masters, Freak." Sapphire whispers in my ear and I nod.
"Yeah, they are too much sometimes..." I reply and we go the rest of the way in silence.
We arrive at the guest rooms and I give each of them a room. I rest my hand on their door and take their hand. I travel their personality into their rooms, and so they could have control over what happened inside.
"Wow, thank you Karsyn." Saber says entering her room that was like her Castle when she lived. Rider just yelled 'Hoora!' before going into his room. Lancer waited for me before entering his room and I followed him inside due to his glistening eyes. I give Sapphire a look of 'this guy is so annoying'. He just smiled before leaving.
