Chapter 13
I wanted to kill him so badly. I wanted to feel his throat beneath my fingers and watch the life drain from his eyes. Tears fell from my eyes and I wanted to scream at him for not knowing things. For insinuating what happened between us; just because he wanted me. I paused when cherry blossom petals flowed past me from a gentle breeze.
"I've never known you to spare a life, especially someone who's insulted you." His voice was as sweet and husky as I remembered. I rushed towards him and wrapped my arms around him, burring my face in his chest. "I've missed you so much my lovely." He whispers to me. Tears fall my eyes as I cling onto him; my sobs filling the air.
"I've missed you so much." I sob and he kisses the top of my head. I look up into his golden brown eyes filled with love. How I've missed those eyes. He whips away my tears, my eyes widen when I feel his magic, and before I could push his hand away he casts me to sleep.
No One's POV
Karsyn slumped against the guy, and he picked her up gently. He stared at the shocked angry eyes of the Servant's and moved slightly when a sword was fired at him by the Archer.
"Put her down!" Saber yelled and readied her sword but the guy didn't even blink when fire erupted between the Servants and him.
"I'll be taking her." He tells them and the flames vanished from Sabers blade.
"No you won't." Lancer growls rushed towards him but the guy sighs and lava explodes from the ground cutting them off from him.
"She'll come back to you all very soon because that's her job but for now I need her." He vanished into thin air just as Karsyn has done before. The Servants look at each other in angry defeat. She was gone and they didn't know how to get her back.
"This is your fault!" Saber screams at the others. "Because of your stupid fight over her she's gone!" Saber tried to become calm but the other servants before had her blood boiling. Karsyn had protected the Lady, she had become a comrade of Saber's, and now she was just gone.
None of them knew what was to come now that the only servant more powerful than any of them was gone. The war could become a bloody mess if she didn't return soon.
Karsyn's POV
4 years and some months before the Church
I woke up to the clinking of chains, and the sound of screams. I opened my eyes and screamed out of utter fear. A bloody body was before me; a dead body to be precise. I backed away and slammed into a stone wall. I yanked at the chains that held me and felt hot tears flow down my face as my eye sight became blurry. I froze as the metal door opened and watched at a guy came into the room. He stared down at me and before I could do anything he smacked me across the face.
"Who the fuck is she?" he growled and I shook from my fear. "Where's the one you were actually supposed to get?"
"This girl was the one we grabbed after she tossed her friend out of the way. It was quite interesting actually; she just like appeared next her friend." Another voice said but I kept my head down. I didn't want to be hit again.
"We've ran some tests of her blood and it came back positive with magical energy. She was the better catch." An older voice says this time. "Let's hook her up to the machine and hope she's enough." I jump when hands grip my arms like iron. I scream and fight them as they drag me away from the chains and down a long white corridor. They take me to a room like in the movies where they kill people. I am strapped down to a table and I scream begging them to let me go. I wince as they inject me with needles connected to tubes and attach these sensors onto me.
